Caleb won the Heisman, well deserved. 3rd Heisman QB for Riley, and considering Malachi Nelson, who might the be the most talent QB he has had yet, is in the pipeline, it won't be his last.

And yet they bust in the nfl…

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Kyler and Hurts are Pro-Bowlers (Hurts is obviously getting a nom this year).

If they don’t re-sign Seumalo, my dream scenario would be Kelce coming back again for another year and sliding Cam Jurgens in at RG. I don’t know exactly how he projects there, but based on what we’ve seen I think he’d be just fine in that spot.

Cam Jurgens might be the argument for why they can move away from both Kelce and Seumalo, if he is half as good as Baldy thinks (HoF😄)… overall the offense is pretty set until Lane hangs it up, so minimal disruption would be nice (resign Isaac, draft a nice RB and some OL depth, dust off hands and salvage what you can of the D and plug away).

I guess there’s also Driscoll, but he seems to be built for spot starting only.

Time to punish Saquon for the Giants' stupidity.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 23

Dammit! All that extra time wasted devising a game plan against Gary Brightwell.

Wow I’m shocked Saquon is playing

You don’t get 300+ carries in the tub, you can’t make it in this league if you don’t know the difference between pain and injury.

I don't mean this as a criticism of you. Not by any means. So don't take this personally.

But I think you nailed it. People who remember Cunningham fondly are often people who were too young to really know what was going on when he was actually a player. They look back through a different kind of lens than they do for players they watched later on.

I thought he was a good player, sometimes very, very good. But he was never some HOF caliber player who was being held back because of circumstances. He was never THAT good.

He had spectacular physical talents.  But any one who actually watched the 1989 playoff loss to the Rams could see that he was limited.  Maybe with better coaching he could have become a better passer, rather than a thrower.

I hated that day. From the rain to the fact that Eric Allen was injured, stupidly, and couldn't play to falling down 14-0 before you knew it. Thankfully I've put this so far out of my mind that I can't recall too much. Did Keith Jackson fumble or drop an important pass or something? I have a vague recollection of him doing something bad.

No offense taken.

Side note: Mark Bowden wrote a book about the ‘92 Eagles called "Bringing the Heat.” It was an awesome read for an out of towner like me who relied on highlights, The Sporting News and the occasional nationally televised game back when I was a preteen.

Did you get the Eagles Digest? Spadaro rag. Mini Sporting News paper but 100% Eagles. It was a god send for me as I was down in Virginia at that point.

Agreed. He was a Pro Bowl level but flawed player. With better coaching that may have been different.

1998 says otherwise.

Quote

Miles Sanders (924 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns) and A.J. Brown (950 receiving yards, 9 touchdowns) can become the second Eagles duo to reach 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards with 10 touchdowns each.

The only other duo was Ricky Watters (1,411 rushing yards, 13 touchdowns) and Irving Fryar (1,195 yards, 11 touchdowns) in 1996

Hopefully he doesn't punish us.

I can fully see this being an ugly close game that the Giants stick around in all game long.

The Giants aren’t a bad team.  Could definitely see a loss here

If anyone thought Barkley wasn't playing today I have some oceanfront property in Kansas I'm looking to sell

I'm gonna be driving to a wedding during the second half of the game, anyone know of a free radio stream I can listen to on the way?
