Not disagreeing with you, but  some of the Chargers issues is the fact that their defense has ranked 23rd, 30th and 26th in the league last three years. I’d be curious to know in the last three years how many playoff teams made the playoffs with a bottom 10 defense. statistically they’ve been bottom 10 for three consecutive years.

Can someone please explain to me why the Giants dropped punt / kick was ruled illegal instead of a legal drop kick?

It has to be kicked just as it hits the ground on a drop kick... like any other place kick, just without a holder.  The ball should basically be exactly like it would be for a placekick as it is being struck, not bouncing about wildly and just happened to be kicked.

I actually had a conversation with a friend who is a Chiefs fan. If you took out Mahomes and Jalen hurts out to the discussion as both are mvp candidates and just compared the rest of the offense i think the only position the Chiefs would be better than the Eagles is Travis Kelce and maybe thuney. I’d take Dickerson over him tbh. Center is closer than you think because Humphrey is really good. But otherwise taking 9 eagles out of the other 10 players.

Neither does two. Hurts' season this year has been more impressive than any of Herbert's, both in individual and team success.

I have not seen any hate for him. He's a top 10 QB and pushing for top 5.

He's just not on the level of Hurts who wins games that he should lose. Herbert loses games he should lose and sometimes games he should win.

If Herbert can't be Wentz 2019 then he's not a top 5 guy yet. 

He's 14th in passer rating and 16th in ANY/A. Top 5 in excuses does not cover the distance.

Believe it or not, the dropkick remains a legal maneuver in the National Football League today. It still exists in the NFL's official rule book. Rule 3, Section 18, Article 1, Item 1 defines the dropkick as, "a kick by a player who drops the ball and kicks it as, or immediately after, it touches the ground."

 

He kicked it on the first bounce. It was not bouncing about wildly

But that's exactly my point in regards to how short their careers are.

And again, your bias is showing. The dude threw for over 5,000 yards and 38 TDs last season with a dumb coach and mediocre team. He's very good and in a not so good situation.

I really don't understand why Herbert gets all the love he does. I mean he's a good QB. But he isn't special.
