So poor baby is 33 points good?

3 FGs and 2 picks instead of TDs on some of those drives turns that game around but it was the Texans so no shot for that poor baby.

this is like blaming hurts for not winning against Washington when the defense gave up 32, couldn’t get off the field for 3 quarters and hurts threw a pick in that game and team had drives stalled and guys fumbled that could’ve been points.  then being like it was more hurts’ fault for not scoring more

Also herbert didn’t have ekeler and Williams that game (2 of his best players). still scored 29 and Justin jackson like quez, goedert fumbled away a promising drive. Also one of his INTs in that was on his receiver. I know cause i watched that game

both are bad arguments.  Let me point out the chargers were 30th in ppg allowed last year at 27 (only the lions and jets were worse). Offense averaged 30ppg vs. playoff teams they faced and were only 5-4 in those games.

Read what you post instead of copying and pasting. What tucker did was illegal

I did read it. Maybe you should. Yes, what Tucker did was illegal, but why? Because "the ball was not kicked immediately after the bounce."

As I posted, and if you read the post you will see, the bounce is legal as long as the ball is kicked when it is ascending. Tucker kicked the ball after its apex and was descending. That's why it was illegal and that's why the Giants kick was illegal.

Again, thanks for playing

I'd be fine extending Hargrave. But another option I'd like is Daron Payne in FA. Only 25 and really coming into his own now. Him combined with Davis as a duo has elite potential. With Cox and Hargrave going they could allocate their money towards that contract. Hopefully Saints pick is around 5, could go Myles Murphy for DE right there. Pretty strong and powerful additions.

Payne next to Davis would be awesome, but I doubt we could afford him. The Athletic reported that he is expected to surpass the four-year, $72 million extension Allen signed last year.

Excited to see if the Chargers find a way to Charger this one

Hurts made the same uber-accurate throw to Smith today for a first down

If dicker just hits this field goal feels like with how tua has looked gonna be really hard to blow it. Then again chargers defense tends to do things like that.

So if you all were to guess, would you guess that Davonta Smith gets a second contract with the Eagles? I’m guessing no.

Obviously we’re a couple years away from that. He’s very good, but I don’t see him as ever being THE guy. He is way too slight of a build and doesn’t have elite speed or elite hands. If I’m going to compare him to former players, I’d say somewhere between Maclin and Ochocinco.

I’ll say yes. Eagles have at least 3 more years of him after this year. AJ Brown’s play style may not hold up by the time he’s 29 where Smith could be the better long term option.

We do covet the line and not afraid to spend there. Hargrave and Cox would go, Barnett gone, Graham i'd keep for a short term deal at less money. I don't think it's impossible considering.

We watched that Hurts game. He was great.

The refs ignored a facemask tackle on Goedert and Watkins had a stupid fumble.

The last 6 points were on a game ender desperation fumblerooski.

Pretending otherwise is a bad argument.

I'm open to hearing special circumstances for why Herbert is really an MVP level 23-25 record starter. and 6-6, 7-6, or 6-7 this year.

2 picks and 3 FG drives vs a 4-13 team does not apply.

Hurts is 2-5 when his team gives up 30+ (2-0 this year) Herbert is 2-11

Its a tough deal. Mahomes is 7-10 and that's about the best.

Chargers should just run the ball here and burn the dolphins last timeout.

Smart by Ekeler to just fall down inbounds on that one.

Where did i say he was mvp? All i said was your argument for that Texans game was bad. That game their defense was atrocious, his wr gave away a int and his running back fumbled the ball. It was actually really similar to the eagles Washington game. It’s why i said it would be a dumb argument to blame hurts just like it’s a bad argument blaming herbert in that game as a lot of their miscues and blame was more directly on defense, jackson fumbling and a wr leaving him out to dry  on one int

I added their defense was 30th in the league in ppg. show me how many teams win 9 games being 30th in points per game allowed? I’m guessing it’s not many doing so.

You guys think Leonard Williams might become available?

Chargers settle for way too many FGs, they're lucky Tua is ishing the bed so spectacularly.

Tbh i think that one they were trying to run clock and get a two score lead with how tua and the dolphins offense has looked.

Fair, but it's been that way for a while.

I don't take anyone in the AFC seriously outside of the Bills, Chiefs, Bengals. Which really were the 3 best teams last year as well. Not record-wise, the Titans were, but no one seriously picked them to make the SB and for good reason.

Meanwhile the NFC this year is completely different.

Yeah, the early FGs are bad but up 6 with 2 1/2 to play the FG is almost always a win.

They burned all the timeouts as well.

Their offense would be much more dangerous if their running game could consistently pick up yards. Ranked 31st in rushing offense. I think some of their red zone woes stems from that.

Yeah the dolphins would’ve had to get a score and then onside and a fg or td to win. Was the smarter play to get them to burn the timeout and waste clock.

If chargers don’t recover this onside it would be the most chargers thing ever

That was bad but I think the Chargers got it.

The chargers live to find ways to blow games.
