That’s a bummer, hope he pulls through.

From a practical perspective, we shouldn't want Hurts to get MVP votes. It's just going to make the contract even more expensive.

I did read it. Maybe you should. Yes, what Tucker did was illegal, but why? Because "the ball was not kicked immediately after the bounce."

As I posted, and if you read the post you will see, the bounce is legal as long as the ball is kicked when it is ascending. Tucker kicked the ball after its apex and was descending. That's why it was illegal and that's why the Giants kick was illegal.

Again, thanks for playing

No it’s not. You’re so unbelievably wrong it’s hilarious.

Jags and Titans will now both need to go all out for Dallas.

I don’t know about the toughest but damn Mike white took two vicious shots in this game.

If you choose to re-watch the game, you'll enjoy the blocking by Stohl and Calcaterra.  Calcaterra has become a key contributor as a rookie.  Quez, Marlon, now Grant...nice run of 6th round picks.

Thought they might draft a TE with late Rd pick again. Probably not. Nice to see those guys catch a few balls as well.

Then look at the roughing the passer call on Herbert last night. Horrific call.

@Nivraga

Here is the textbook dropkick, executed perfectly. Look at the difference between Fluties legal kick, and the illegal kicks of tucker and the giants punter yesterday. Do you understand now?

No. No, I don’t think he will.

But if the Jaguars don’t beat Dallas, it would probably mean the Titans will have it clinched when they play Dallas a few weeks later and would have little to play for as far as seeding is concerned.

Sometimes I get on here and think to myself...how is this a thing??

Potential big loss for Dallas

Same. How can somebody read the rule, have it explained to them perfectly by a few posters, yet still insist everybody else is wrong? It boggles the mind

There’s an argument to be made the best team in the afc right now might be the bengals. If Higgins injury isn’t serious then their offense is getting healthy at the right time. Their defense seems to have also turn the corner over the past couple weeks. There’s an outside chance if they win out (beat the bills in week 17) and the chiefs stumble once down the stretch then they could get the no. 1 seed. won 5 in a row and 7 of 8.

On offense i think they have better overall playmakers than the chiefs. I also think they have a better running game than the both the chiefs and bills. Burrow showed last year he can beat a mahomes in the biggest stage. With the injuries to the bills defense, i think cincy’s defense is closer. And like last year they seem to be getting better and better down the stretch. Chiefs defense seems to be worse. Gave up 27 or more in 3 of 4 games.

Its almost like a massive qb contract erodes the roster…

Same reason why they think Hurts is better then Mahomes and Herbert. They don't know football. Honestly, who gives a ish about the mvp? I could care less about individual awards. Give me a Lombardi trophy

Don’t disagree the money you pay for a Qb takes away from elsewhere. Even with the mahomes interceptions, their defense looked bad against a really bad broncos offense that had yet to score over 24 points all year til that game. that said I’m curious to see how the chiefs offense looks when they get hardman and toney back. Granted neither has been the epitome of health in their careers.

Watching the game on catch up allowed me to do some pause/rewind. The OL, TEs and RBs did a great overall job giving Hurts the time in the pocket and not do his runaround freak out stuff.  Mailata needs to get his mojo back, but that OL is cooking at the moment.

In Rugby, a drop kick is the ball hits the ground is kicked on the uptick which isn't a punt.  The Giants punter double hit the ball, which is a different thing entirely, hence the penalty

Probably not the right time but Penei Sewell has more catches than JJAW this year and only 5 behind jalen Reagor.

That's awesome. I'd like to see him back next year on a cheap deal and in a Chris Long role. We need to get younger at DE
