I think it's hilarious that you keep checking that thread.  But don't dare post in it.

And then you decide to junk up this thread with posts from over there.  Which DUM purposefully created a new thread to NOT have that stuff in here.

I did post in that thread. So this idea that I am afraid to post there is not only factually wrong, but also kind of a strange thing to say, like I have some fear of random internet people.

Also, I am fine leaving you and your buddies to post whatever you want there. I crossposted because your buddies decided to coordinate a trolling effort of the Hurts thread which quickly spilled over to blog.

Like, I don't get it. It seems fine that a select group of posters can hang out in rant and rave and post whatever they want, and the rest of us can hang out here. But that doesn't make you happy, so you have to coordinate trolling efforts just to create drama and cause dumb fights.

Which seems childish to me, but hardly out of character.

I don't do it but I fail to see the problem if someone else wants to.

Exactly.   The problem only comes if the decor comes off the car and litters the street.

I know you are too stupid to realize this.  But I'll tell you straight out, I don't come here to call people out and argue.

I post my opinions. And don't say anything to, or about RTK, you, justwin (who brought my post in to the TATE thread for no reason other than a fight) ,etc.

I don't quote old posts trying to score points. None of it.

Don't talk to me about coordinating a trolling expedition in another thread. Stop bothering me with your nonsense.

Grow up.  It wasn’t trolling and it wasn’t coordinated.   People can post where they want when they want within the rules of the board.  You were asked by numerous posters to take this drama out of here, last night.  Yet here you are.

It was brought up and I responded. I am fine letting it go.

I'm pulling through.  Fever gone since about 3am. Feeling better.

You quoted my post from a different thread. You and those your group of trolls keep trying to bring me in to your drama.

Instead of making the rest of the Blog read about Jalen Hurts and Every other QB comparison for the hundredth F’ing day in a row with the same posters.

Here’s a Question: IS THIS THE BEST OFFENSE THE EAGLES HAVE EVER HAD??

Probably.  You have to go back to 1949 to find the last Eagles team that led the NFL in points.  That team scored 364 points in 12 games (11 wins and 1 loss) which does calculate out to a slightly higher PPG that this Eagles team has, but any comparison of those two Offenses is a fool’s errand since the game was so different then.

Problem is you need more detail, since for most QBs, out of pocket plays are usually "Run For Your Life" plays with defenders in hot pursuit.

Whereas the majority of plays in the pocket, the ball is gone before the rush gets there.

So self-selection bias.

So you agree that leaving the pocket leads to increased injury risk?

Just went through the exact same thing this weekend. Friday I was fine. Saturday I woke up with the highest fever I’ve had in years. Covid test negative as well. Sunday afternoon I started feeling better but I still have a bunch of congestion, a small cough, and a sore throat.

I don't think I was the only one to see Murray go down and think, dang, that was awful.

But as time went on, a thought came into my head. At least he'll be able to play Call of Duty and no one will be able to complain about it now.  Rehab baby!! 😉

No i would say the TO westbrook mcnabb offense

On a pure points produced basis the 2004 team produced 386 points in 16 games.  This team has also produced 386 points, but in 13 games.  The  2005 TO Westbrook McNabb team only produced 310 points in 16 games.

Hmmm....

TO vs. AJ Brown... I might give the nod to Brown.
Westbrook vs. Sanders... Definitely Westbrook.
McNabb vs. Hurts...   Hard to go against Hurts.

And for the rest:
As a unit OL:  Thomas, Hicks, Fraley, Mayberry, Runyan. vs.  Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Seumalo, Johnson    I'd give the edge to that OL to pass block, and the edge to this OL to run block.  Slight lean to this unit, as they are slightly better at pass blocking than that one was at run blocking.

TE: Chad Lewis & LJ Smith. vs. Goedert & Stoll, etc.   Gotta go with this crew.  Smith might have been singlehandedly most responsible for that loss in the SB.

WR2: Pinkston vs. Smith - interestingly two twigs at #2 WR.  Smith over Pinkston, easily.  Different styles, but going Smith.

WR3: Mitchell vs. Watkins - Different roles... almost more appropriate to line up Pinkston vs. Watkins and Mitchell vs. Smith.  Even so... I go Smith and Watkins over Pinkston and Mitchell, however you slice it.

RB2:  Did the '04 team even have a #2?  Dorsey Levens vs. Gainwell/Scott.  Tough, honestly.  Slight nod to this group.  Why so close?  Because Levens wasn't terrible as a short yardage back.  I wish this team had a short yardage back that wasn't also the QB.

So... yeah, I think we have to go with this team slightly over that one.  That team really couldn't run at will.  This team can.

Rules Changes have only opened up offenses since then. Ppg is a crude comparison

I agree with your overall take, but I think TO was slightly better than Brown. But it’s close

You remember, TO was sent home about halfway through that season, and McNabb was dealing with a sports hernia the whole season and eventually went to IR.  Thomas missed almost the whole year at LT.  Then, Herremanns went out.  They finished with Mike MacMahon at QB.  Was that really a TO, Westbrook, McNabb team?

Nope.  Don't have time for that nonsense personally, but if someone wants to do it, why should it bother anyone else?

TO in 2004 - 14 games, 77 for 1200 and 14TDs

AJ in 13 - 65 for 1020 and 10

Looking at the raw numbers it’s not as close as I thought it was

I don’t disagree with either of you.  The bottom line of what you are saying is that there is no objective (uncrude) measure for comparing Offenses, only subjective personal opinions.  Is that right?
