Mccafrey, Henry, Chubb, Taylor, Jacobs, Mixon to me are clearly better.  That would put him no better 6 if you really love the guy.

Then you have guys like Ekeler, Aaron Jones, Saquon, Etienne, Dalvin Cook, Mostert, Kamara, Swift.   Also Pollard, Pearce, guys like that are arguable.

I could take my time and rank all these but just off the cuff Id put him around 15

Rank the NFL RBs then. Lets see where you have him

Derrick Henry?

If Blakenship and CJGJ are out for the next couple of weeks, Harris gives us an experienced S that knows Gannon’s and depth. Really want Wallace with no back up?

Mixon, Ekeler, and Jones can all catch out of the backfield. That's huge. I have them above him

Eckler has to be even for the biggest homer.

He can too, we just never use him in that manner. Is he as good as them at it? No, but I think he's better than Jones and Mixon when carrying the ball. Better in pass protection too.

Oh! I came up with another one not listed yet.

Ekeler is having a down year in terms of running the ball. But the chargers run blocking is pretty miserable. It’s why during the herbert discussion i said part of the reason they blow late leads is they had been down WRs left and right. They had Deandre Carter and Palmer as their top 2 WRs for like a month. Even Everett the tight end was banged up.  Then when trying to close out games their running game was nonexistent.

Not sure the running game gets to the point where they are at least average. But against the dolphins, ekeler had some decent runs on their final drive because dolphins had to actually respect the threats of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.

Regardless of where folks want to rank Sanders against other NFL RBs, the larger question is whether to give him a second contract and what that looks like.

AJ Brown is signed, along with Goedert, Mailata, Sweat, Maddox

Sanders and Hargrave are due for contracts, as well as the numerous pending FA's like CGJ, White, Bradberry, etc., etc. on defense

Personally, I believe Sanders will be easier to replace than Hargrave or Bradberry.  He'll also hopefully cost a lot less -- but I don't think Howie will offer Sanders a number nearly as high as he can get on the UFA market.  My guess is he'll be gone next season.

It will be interesting to see if Howie chooses to franchise tag anyone.

He's going to have well over 100 catches this year. Big part of that is injuries at wr

Sanders couldn’t even score a TD last season. He’s not an elite running back. We will draft someone next year and be fine without him. Hope he gets paid by some other team.

I might give you Jones, Mixon no

He’s high volume in their offense. Would love to have seen him as an Eagle. Great player.

You think Mixon is a better rusher than Sanders? Can't agree there at all.

In no way, shape, or form is Miles Sanders a better rushing back than Joe Mixon and Aaron Jones.  No way

But not sure why I'm trying to convince a guy who just mentioned 30 yr old backup RB Raheem Mostert in this discussion.

Raheem Mostert...   He was ours... and we let him go.   😢

Sign CGJ, Epps, Hargrave, White, Seumalo and MAYBE Graham if he willing to take much less.

Bradberry, Cox, Sanders, Edwards gone

How do you feel about Breece Hall? Inexperienced but he looked like a real one. Was on pace for over 1000 yards despite not being their starter

And then there’s Pollard

I’m hopefully they get a contract done with at least CGJ before the franchise tag becomes a possibility. It then allows you to be able to at least tag hargrave or bradberry if you can’t work something out. I tend to think if they do use the tag they’d choose hargrave over bradberry.

The issue is on defense we have a ton of guys who are FA. Have CGJ, Epps, white, Edwards, Bg, Cox, Suh, Joseph and bradberry. That doesn’t include seumalo and sanders on offense. Also I’m guessing with hurts being extension eligible that’s happening at some point this offseason instead of waiting and potentially getting into a cousins/Dak situation. So would you rather spend the money on RB or re-sign some of those either guys. i am guessing with how good the Oline is the eagles believe they can likely get really good production going cheaper route and draft.

He could've been. Howie decided to roll with Pumphrey

Just curious.

I really would not want wallace on the team anymore tbh. But given where we are have to as at least he knows the system and we don’t have many options.

There are some definite promising rooks that could surpass Sanders in a couple years or even next year. Walker, Hall, and Pierce. But need to see more still.

I like him coming out. He was a stud and Iowa State. I believe he only played in 5 games this year before getting injured? Kinda hard to talk about his play on a small sample size. We can talk about him next season when he's healthy
