They did. But they also hosed them a few times on big plays earlier.  Overall terribly reffed game.

He's 2 for 5 on FGs 50yds or longer. Not much of a sample size, but not exactly a a forgone conclusion he'd bang it in either. And it's not like you need a physical specimen at QB to pick up sneaks, it's a function of interior line push not QB athleticism. Brady picked them up all the time despite being one of the oldest, slowest, pieces of ish the league has ever seen.

McLaughlin is a below average kicker regardless.

Also, it wasn’t mandated that the Colts try a quarterback sneak with an ancient Matt Ryan. There were other play options.
