They just came back from down 33 while the refs stole 2 additional TDs and that's your takeaway? 😂

They're lucky the colts offense is trash.

If you think about it; they didn't do much even in first half when they had great FP gifted to them from failed 4th down attempts and turnovers.

Man, Colts needed Taylor out there today.

The Vikings are not a dominant team. This is obvious. The also beat 11 of the 13 teams they have played (Detroit was a split)

If they were the Cowboys the media would say they are clutch and amazing with a 10-0 record in 1 score games. Dak for MVP!

Bend don't break. Just do enough to keep them in the game. You know every cliché would go on the mountain of praise for Dem Boys.

Craziest comeback in 30 years

McLaughlin is a below average kicker regardless.

Also, it wasn’t mandated that the Colts try a quarterback sneak with an ancient Matt Ryan. There were other play options.

I was looking at the wrong guy (Blankenship), McLaughlin actually has better stats from 50+ yds and greater. Makes it a closer call than I thought.

He's 8 of 11 from 50+ this year (including 1 for 1 today)

He is 16 of 20 from 50+ in his career.

McLaughlin has an 80% success from 50+ in his career (72% this year).

Now a competent team should still have a higher success rate with a QB sneak on 4th and less than 1 year (best source I could find was 88% success here https://www.sportsinfosolutions.com/2019/01/30/the-qb-sneak-is-the-most-underutilized-play-in-football/).  Clearly the Colts aren't a competent team though.

The Colts FG possibility and the Vikings FG possibility were way different.

The Vikings 56 yard attempt would not have won the game and a miss gives the Colts the ball about 20 yards away from their own FG try.

The Colts 52 yard FG would have ended the game with a 2 score lead.

If you can’t pick up a couple feet to win a game you deserve to lose. FG aside. That was a pathetic sneak effort.

had to change change channel from halftime show. Didn't want to be reminded of that historic win.

Out of all the injuries, the least I thought wouldn’t be back immediately was Goedert. Hopefully it’s just extra rest but it’s a weird decision.

I'd definitely rather have him next week. Hopefully he can hit the ground running.

That was the craziest comeback in 30 years (almost literally)...

Bills-Oilers game was 30 years ago, minus 17 days.

People fairly view the Vikings as having a bloated W-L record but so do the Colts.  It’s unfathomable they have 4 wins and a tie this season.

Not sure they’re any better than the Texans, to be honest.  Vikings took them lightly in the first half and proved in the second half that they were right to do so.

Came back from 33 points down even with having two fumble recovery TDs stolen by the refs, and a phantom call to wipe out a punt return into the red zone.

He's a 78% career kicker prior to today. The league average is about 84-85%. He's below average. I'm not saying he stinks. He's an NFL kicker. But there are about 25 kickers in the league who are better than him, and that isn't really debatable.

He probably makes that kick. It's better than fifty/fifty.  But even if he does, it doesn't end the game. A fourth down conversion DOES end the game, and the odds of success are even better. Furthermore, a missed kick gives the Vikings the ball about eight yards closer than a run for no gain. The smart play was to go for it. But don't ask your ancient quarterback to get it, and also don't let the officials mark your progress short when you actually do get it.

The series that really hurt was after the interception at the two yard line with about seven and a half minutes to go. They burned about fifty seconds rather than two minutes on the clock after two incomplete passes. Inexplicable.

Thank goodness my interest in the game was only mild. Objectively, that is. I was invested for about four hours but it probably doesn't really mean all that much anyway.

You keep telling me they’re gonna blow them out. Vikings haven’t blown out anyone since week one. So what is your reasoning that they’re gonna blow them out when they’ve proven not too do that at all? worse teams then the giants and Seahawks had chances to beat them.

read what I wrote. I wouldn’t take the giants and Seahawks but saying they have no chance in that game and they’re gonna be blown out goes against everything Minnesota has done all year. Bad teams or a good team when the Vikings win  are close games. Reason why they are 9-0 in one score games and games include the crappy cardinals, saints, bears and when the lions were really bad at the start of the year.

your logic is well the giants and Seahawks are not playing well so they’re gonna get blown out. The Bears, Saint, cardinals haven’t been playing well all year nor going into those games and yet been in these games with Minnesota.

Name your price, I'll do a money bet with you.

At the time, it was suggested that it was a six week recovery type injury. We're only at about five weeks right now. Expecting him back for the Bears game was always on the optimistic side.

I would not bet him @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! he is a fraud that runs from anything he is wrong about.
