At the time, it was suggested that it was a six week recovery type injury. We're only at about five weeks right now. Expecting him back for the Bears game was always on the optimistic side.

Agreed but the corresponding moves were made early on this week that the Eagles expected him to play. Kinda curious what changed.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

That was the craziest comeback in 30 years (almost literally)...

Bills-Colts game was 30 years ago, minus 17 days.

Kind of a weird and completely useless fact: I missed the first half of both games, but saw both comebacks.

Just landed in Chicago and a bit shocked to hear Goedert isn't playing.  Didn't see that coming at all.

Anyway, wild Vikings game aside, it really doesn't have a significant impact on the Eagles. Maybe if the Saints win tomorrow draft pick wise, but the Colts would just need to win another game(which is likely looking at their schedule) to jump back over them. Eagles HFA, the Eagles are 3 games ahead considering the head to head advantage. If the Eagles blow a 3 game lead with just over a month remaining, then they didn't deserve HFA anyway. And that's with the Vikings winning out, which is unlikely to begin with.

Good thing Baltimore has Huntley out there. Lamar would probably throw a red zone interception.

It's all your fault.

Really a shame neither team has a weapon as explosive as JaMycal Hasty or this might actually be a ballgame.

Frustrating afternoon of football.

Time to refocus on drunken milfs dancing to Panic and Grateful Dead songs tonight at our gig.

Play Crazy Beach and they will give everyone lap dances

I know Watson has missed a lot of time, but since he's come back his accuracy has been so bad it looks like he's throwing with his off hand. He just looks absolutely terrible out there.

I would not bet him @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! he is a fraud that runs from anything he is wrong about.

Neither seattle and giants might make the playoffs.so can’t make a bet on something that might never happen.

again his logic is still ridiculous. Vikings won 11 games. 10 of 11 are by 1 score. logic of they’ll just blow them out makes no sense. They beat bears, cards, colts and saints late in the 4th or overtime by a score. All 4 are worse than giants and Seahawks.

Bills - Oilers?

Anthony Harris will be inactive for the game? Seems kind of pointless to sign him then. We may never even need him on the field.

Yes, thank you. Bills-Oilers

Out of all the injuries, the least I thought wouldn’t be back immediately was Goedert. Hopefully it’s just extra rest but it’s a weird decision.

I’m sure it’s extra rest.  And the fact that the offense has been on fire….we already made the playoffs and Goedert is our "franchise tight end”.  So no need to rush him back and risk aggravating his injury before the playoffs.

@LeanMeanGM

35-10 eagles

I guess if there is game where Kvon must play 100% of defensive snaps… this might be it. Still spells trouble.

No Chachere elevation either.

The signing has not avoided a KVon game. Which is a failure.

Now, a grade 1 MCL sprain is usually a 2 week injury. So Blankenship should likely be playing vs Dallas.

And I suspect Gardner-Johnson will be back as soon as he is able  as well.

It seems to be completely pointless to have signed Harris if he wasnt going to protect us from KVon this week.

Chachere is out of elevations. The Eagles only have 52 on the roster so I guess they could still sign him to the 53.

Huntley just took a 9 second sack... not good.

And he goes down again.

Scott may get snaps at safety.

Agreed - unless Harris is insurance for the DAL game, but yeah my assumption was Reed would be back by then.

While Harris hasn’t played at all, he has been on a PS most of the season (so in shape) and he knows the scheme… does not compute.

The roster moves today made no sense. Goedert isn’t brought back despite opening a spot for him, ok whatever. Harris isn’t brought up so we have only two safeties and Scott. Dumb. And we used the last elevation opportunity for Elliss against the Bears instead of the Cowboys. Dumb.
