Not sure if it was Glen or Ray but one of them was covering the Eagles in Giants stadium and when they got back to their car it was snowing and some angry Giants fan had busted out the windshield of their car with Philly plates. He had to drive down the Jersey Turnpike in the snow without a windshield.

Geeez that sounds awful to have to drive like that. When i was in college i bought a 78 vette that was a fixer upper in Phoenix. I had to drive from Phoenix to Tucson in 110 degree weather which is about an 1 hour and 20 minute drive. The air conditioning didn’t work. Worse experience of my life. I almost regretted buying it  cause of that

Vette as in Corvette? Who the hell drives around a classic Corvette in college? Lol. My dad has a 78 Corvette that will be mine someday, I'll come out there pick you up and remind you of what it's like lol

Giants fans are the real trash, been saying this for years

I have lived away from the East Coast for about 12 years now and I explain the East Coast fans this way. All fanbases have about 5% lunatics. East Coast fanbases have more like 7% lunatics. Philly is no worse than NY or Boston or DC but the NY media market hates Philly so they dramatize everything that has ever been done here and ignores their own boorish behavior.

The worst fans in the US are Cali fans though. Dodger fans kill Giants fans. Really, they kill them in the parking lot over baseball games.

49ers and Raiders were banned from playing each other in the preseason because of all the violence... at a preseason games.

Before the ban the police would wear the jerseys of the road team to that game and arrest people who attacked them.

It wasn’t in good condition. I bought it cause i was going to fix it up in my spare time and the person was just getting rid of it.  it basically had sat for 10 years in the sun (guy i bought it from wasn’t the original owner). Paint was rusting and gone in some areas, missing emblems, basically needed a new transmission, some new wiring, the interior was a mess. It was was a disaster but i wanted a project, it was super cheap and gave me an activity to do with my dad. Plus my insurance cause it was considered a classic car was super cheap too. Actually when got done fixing a lot of it i gave it to my dad so he could drive it when he retired.

My dad has his all restored, engine rebuilt and juiced up. Just needs a coat of paint which it is ready for he just hasn't been able to get around to it.

I don’t know what color yours is but you can find the original paint. It took a little bit of searching. But when it got repainted it came out looking amazing. The one i bought was what was left of two tone silver and gray.

Yup I’m pretty sure it is the same.

Regarding all the easy schedule crap...  There are seven teams that we can put up in the broader top category.  Here they are with their records against the other six.

Bengals  1-1

Bills  1-1

Chiefs  1-2

Cowboys  2-1

Eagles  2-0

Vikings  1-2

49ers  0-1

Why have Philly fans become so GD soft?   Everyone has been saying they’re the best team in the NFL for a while now.  Yet people still complain about the Hurts MVP discussion or the soft schedule talk.  Whatever happened to "No One Likes Us We Don’t Care”?  2020 happened then Hurts became the QB and all of the sudden a large portion of the fan base is ultra defensive.

I had chili last night before bed. The softness is all coming out of me now

The Birds Road Trip Continues as they take on those Monsters of the Midway Chicago Bears.    Jalen faces Justin Fields, they both were Heisman Trophy Finalist back in 2019.  The Birds and Bears have a long history of Legendary Games.  Bears lead the Series overall though the Birds have winning record against them in the Playoffs.  The Birds are also on a 5 Game Winning streak against the Bears dating back to 2011.  Including the Double Doink Playoff game.  TJ Edwards is also from Chicago area....along with Eagles Legend Donovan Mcnabb.  Legendary 85 Bears Coach Buddy Ryan would also Coach the Eagles.   Tom Thayer recently came out and said the 22' Birds remind him of the 85 Bears who went 15-1 and won the Super Bowl.

This Bears team hasn't had the best season.  They're on a 6 game losing streak and lost 9 of their last 10. They are also already out of playoff contention.   With that said, they do play hard and have been in several close games.   Justin is literally keeping this team in games and killing it on the ground. The Defense is just giving up way too many points.    The Birds haven't taken any opponent lightly all season.  They will take the Bears very seriously.   Overall I feel like Jalen and this O will be able to do damage on this Defense.  I think everyone gets involved for another Five TD game.  Justin will get yards, no doubt but I think the D can contain him somewhat.  I also think they will force him into some mistakes.   I just don't see them slipping up here.  Bears will score some points but it won't be enough.  The 1980 Eagles,  2004 Eagles and 2017 Eagles also played and beat Chicago during their Super Bowl runs.  Time for this team to join the tradition.  Birds Advance to 13-1and continue Road Warrior Streak to 7-0 (9-0 dating back to last Season)

THE BIRDS - 38

DA BEARS - 18

Jalen - Rush TD

Miles - Rush TD

AJ - TD

DeVonta - TD

Quez - TD

Jake - FG

Defense - Multiple sacks, Fumble Recovery, INT

In his 8 years as a full time starter in SF he averaged 75 435 and 5 per 17 games. That's a dual-threat QB. In 1994 he was also 2nd in yards per carry and tied 8th in rushing TDs.

He led his team in rushing TDs and ypc unless you count Rice's 7 runs at 13.3 a pop.

The thing about being a dual threat QB is being very good at one does not mean you are not also doing the other. Its almost like if Hurts was leading the league in TD to INT ratio and passer rating and lowest INT% but is still also running. Maybe he's not running... like Steve!

Steve Young ran when the play broke down and he could take easy yards.  There was not designed run plays.  He averaged 4.3 carries for 25.6 yards during that stretch.

In 11 of the 16 games that year, he had 3 or less carries.  They did not design any part of the offense around his rushing, he would run when plays broke down and allowed it.

They designed plenty of runs for Young.  That included the wild card game in 1996 vs. the Eagles.  Among some other things, a few of those designed Young rushing plays were the key to the 49ers win that day.
