Yeah the gameplan should’ve been that. The bears are awful at stopping the run. They are 27th in the league. Bears are 10th against the pass. Granted some of that is the fact teams just run the ball when they get up big

My theory is the coaching staff let Parsons get into their heads and are trying to prove Hurts is the MVP by dealing in cold weather. It’s the only thing that makes sense(even though it doesn’t make sense).

They had to be able to run the ball and control the clock. Their defense is nowhere good enough to hold Dallas’ offense so beat way to do it was ball control and limit possessions. At this point much harder to do down 14
