Then maybe it was a big F You to Micah Parsons and they wanted to showcase Hurts?  I have no idea.  It was an absolute garbage game plan, yet they still won. They won despite the play calling, despite Hurts being off early on.  Hurts helped by throwing some absolute dimes and having DOGS at WR.

I still think they’re giving Hurts the option to keep instead of handing off, and some games he still wants to be the playmaker instead of distributing the ball properly.

I believe he wanted to outrun Fields today.

If that's the case, then all the coaches should be lined up for this:

Im sure Jason Garrett is grinning from ear to ear

Then Hurts can get in line for a slap too.

Under the radar thing from this game is Wallace actually played a good game for the first time maybe in his career.

It helps when there is no pass catcher who is any good.

Today was Wallace's best day as a pro.

He's been decisive, which is at least a nice start.

Isn't that what you have been doing for the last hour?

I seriously doubt it.

I would be interested in if the Beats played our read option any differently than other teams because Hurts kept it and they were still all over it.

Whole secondary felt like they had the day off today.

No.  It was clearly the design of the offense and Sirianni said as much in the PC that that was the game plan going in to today's game.

I still can’t believe we gave up that busted coverage touchdown late. We haven’t had many busts at all this year.

Especially Slay. He decided he didn’t even need to cover Pringle on that TD.

at one point it was explained how they were doing a lot of twists so it was harder for Hurts to read the end. But their LBs were really all over him on all of his runs. They seemed to spy him pretty much all game with 1 or even 2.

Got caught looking in the backfield.

I could have sworn Fields was a good 2 yards over the LOS but they never showed a replay from the right angle to even debate it.

Just watched the highlights.  I'm going to be a broken record saying this every week.

Jalen Hurts is a pocket passer.  He makes great reads, great throws from the pocket.  He sucks when he leaves it.  Compounding this, interestingly, is that he is at his absolute best as a runner between the tackles.  When teams respect his arm, they leave the middle of the field open, he sees it, he runs it through a gap, and he gets huge gains.  He's a downhill runner and is actually less effective when he's cutting back, running backwards, going wide, and trying to Mike Vick it.

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees won 50 superbowls and 125 MVPs by not leaving the pocket.  You don't have to leave the pocket.

Make Hurts pass from the pocket.  Make Hurts run upfield from the pocket.  Don't let him leave it.

I did too. I actually just rewatched the play to see how close it was. It wasn’t very close though.

Looked that way because of how far back he ran first.  35 was LOS.  He throws from about the 37, technically 38 I guess, since the back foot is what really matters.

Thanks for posting. Weird how deceiving it looked during live gameplay.  What I did notice during the game from the endzone angle is that Fields has an elite arm.  He flicked that ball.

Our defensive MVP has to be Reddick at this point. I leaned toward Slay a week or two ago, but Reddick has killed it the last few weeks or so. He's having a great year.

Heineke is annoying

What is the penalty called for throwing past LOS?

Edwards is up there for me too, but Reddick has been a pleasure to watch this year. When him and Sweat get going it’s fun.
