I don’t get this line of thinking. We have four DL pushing for 10 sacks and arguably the best corner duo in the league and we’re talking about Edwards as a defensive team MVP. He’s fine, but he’s not particularly valuable.

Mike Singletary averaged 1.5 sacks and 0.5 INTs a season.  Edwards is not in Singletary's class, but performs a similar role.

Love these lil blurbs, now that the Game is over. Thanks BigE.

I am in the N East. Access to great wood stocks.

Fine particulate is a problem when grinding and mixing. I rarely buy exotic spices anymore, grow, dry, grind and store. (and sneeze.)

I have about 60 lbs of cut Venison to deal with now. Mostly roasts but some tenderloin, backstrap and Quarters ( Shoulders) as well.

AppleWood to smoke some, Pork suet to mix in for Ground goods, Super Lean cuts get the sweet saute...Lightly spiced, of course.

Rough bits get the diced treatment and go into the Chili Recipe for the upcoming Squirrel Tournament Buffet. 5 gals is my usual.

Wild game is a challenge, not to everyone's liking. Sometimes it's best to say " Try this" and tell em later what it is. They usually smile.

My Venison was running around the woods 5 days ago...til I saw them.....Hung and aged in the *40s, final detailing after 5 days.

Been doing this a long time. Always looking for new ways.

I enjoy these exchanges. We should get a room....or a Food Channel...

Venison is great in chili, but I would add a bit of fat to it.  Don’t hunt anymore so the opportunity isn’t there for me.  Ate a bunch in my younger days.  Only time I really found it gamey was when the deer had been in the acorns.

Was thinking about this earlier, but has Quez Watkins done enough for you to move forward with him as the #3 receiver or would you look to upgrade there in the offseason?

I think he’s fine but I wouldn’t hesitate to upgrade if an opportunity presented itself. But he’s fine considering how often the team goes to the #3

I don't think so.  He's a straight line guy and I think he can be upgraded from easily with the talent in the draft.  Look at the short throws he's given.  I can't think of a big play he's made from a short throw.  He isn't quick enough to make guys miss underneath and his speed is underutilized.  I'm 100% looking for a WR3.  I still think you also look to move him if possible.

It's nice having someone solid in the middle of the field but I don't get the thought of him as indispensable as I've seen some say. He can stay as long as his contract stays reasonable. Otherwise roll with Dean.

Nah.  I don't believe he is the MVP.  Mine would be Slay or Reddick.

But I'm not dismissive of Edwards' important role and improved play.

Giants special teams being special

I so want the commode doors to score a TD here and get the two point conversion. Then have the game go to OT and neither team score.

I’m not dismissing him at all, but he’s nowhere near being our defensive MVP and isn’t valuable comparatively.

They did tie 20-20 last time

Washington should just sneak this twice with a timeout in their pocket

Refs gonna call that BS at that point in the game? A judgement call on something that had zero to do with the play.  That's what I say about these guys trying to take over a game. Stop deciding games. Let the teams do that.

Both teams stink

That was PI

Obvious PI.

Washington did get hosed honestly. Call some questionable illegal formation ticky tacky bs and then ignore PI? Lol bad officiating.

At the very least, flags should be reviewable in the last 2 mins. The stakes are way too high.

I think you can make a case for him being the third most important piece to this defense behind Reddick and Slay with how he’s played this year. And part of that goes into him being significantly better than his replacement. I don’t think Dean can come in now and replicate what he’s done. But maybe I’m biased because we’ve had such poor LB play the past few seasons that it’s just nice to finally see some good play there.

Yep. If we got some borderline ticky tack call that took a TD away and then let the other team maul our receiver the next play, we'd be screaming for blood. They ruined the end of a pretty entertaining game.

Washington had almost a month to prepare for this. They SUCK.

A lot of these issues would be solved if they let coaches challenge whatever they want. Whether a turnover, pass interference, roughing the passer, holding, etc. You keep the two challenge limit as is and let the coaches challenge any aspect of the officiating.

Wow. In slow motion it's not even close. DPI all the way. Giants got away with one.
