Law guys- a guy is building a house on the formerly vacant corner lot that was used as a school bus stop.

Now he is saying people can't park along the road there when waiting for the bus.

Normally a lot of the kids walk to this stop,  but on rainy days there are more cars and there won't be enough room to park.

Is the bus stop technically public property? Or did the guy have the right to not allow people to wait in front of his house?

That is going to be a combination of the parking laws, zoning laws and whether the street is private or public (dedicated and adopted by the municipality).  Township or borough?  Local police or state police provide police services that govern the location.  The way the government works in the Commonwealth is the power belongs to the state but they pass them down.  Any no parking signs?  Type of road that prohibits standing or parking.  Need more info to answer more fully.

OK so I know I live with blinders on in the offseason, Fanduel has their own network now?

WHY?  I get sick and tired of seeing all the gambling commercials anyway during the season, I bet that a hoot to watch?

Pretty sure if it is NOT a private drive, meaning that if the road is owned by the township, county or state and not a private entity, he cant do much more than complain, and ask that the stop be moved.

Hasn't yet.  But he just has a foundation of a house.  Far from complete.  But he literally sits there a day, every day in his car watching the workers.

He's going to be a pr.

You should send him to Novacare, the eagles are in desperate need

I don't think the corner lot owner can ban anyone from doing anything on a public road.  The only exception may be if people were blocking access to his property.   If it's a public road, then the only thing that matters would be local rules and regs about parking.

Yup. In death she was still a better QB than Hurts.

Its a private community in a township. Local police come in for complaints, but dont really patrol it. We have "Security". Our roads are maintained privately through HOA hoa dues- that goes for paving, as well as snow plowing. So we are in the township and pay taxes but dont really receive any service back for it. We only get what our HOA dues buy us.

There are no no parking signs.

The HOA technically doesnt allow parking on the roads, but thats not enforced for bus stops. Thats more for people not long term parking along the road at their house. Our roads arent wide enough to allow for that.

I'm not going to get too excited over the first four games, one way or another.

I learned my lesson when the Eagles started 7-2 and walloped the 49ers in SF - thought they were headed to the SB. They then went 0-7 and SF won the SB.

Howie is in a funny place, I think he planned on a 3 year rebuild, starting with 2020, the plan to be competitive in 2023 after a couple big drafts with those high picks. Instead they arrived two years early, so he went out and got Reddick and Brown. This explains some of the dead money shenanigans, he probably assumed he had a couple years to burn it off, then the team screwed him by being better than expected.

Running is a skill, and to knock Hurts b/c he's an elite running QB (rated the most effective running QB in the league by FO) is silly.

It's not enough, but he ran about the same as Allen, so the problem isn't with his running, but the need to improve his passing.

And that will either happen or it won't, I'll wait and see, not just the 1st game, but the season, it's one thing to practice things all summer, but the key is incorporating those improvements into real games - and exhibition games are no substitute for real games at real speed against #1 defenses that aren't resting veterans. So it may take time for some of these things to become second nature under game conditions.

Hurts has to show improvement this season, his experience is limited enough to assume there is upside potential, but in his second full season as a starter, he should be much closer to a finished product going into December than he was last year.

It’s also a strawman.

I would just make sure this guy never gets elected to the HOA board.
