There should have just been no QB run options. They were doing everything to stop the run and for some stupid reason we kept playing into it. Even if he made the right zone read they were selling out to stop him.

It would've been good to dial up the short passing game (NOT screens) since we were killing them on slants all game. We should've been running a lot of plays under center in the 2nd half instead putting Hurts in those positions in the first place.

This feels like more of a precaution coming into a short week than anything. If Minshew can somehow get the win on Saturday, I think they'll let Jalen rest the remainder of the season.

You're crazy! Winning mvp is obviously more important. Forget the team. It's all about one player and individual awards

Winning MVP and being MVP are two different things. If you know the truth, who cares who a committee arbitrarily decides to give a piece of hardware to? What's true in your heart is all that really matters.

I hope Sirianni gets grilled at his next PC. Not only did they run Hurts way too much, he had 6 more attempts AFTER he sprained his shoulder.

I am curious to see how the offense does when it's forced to use the backs against a poor run defense. Might be telling for the playoffs should we happen to meet.

I’m worried about the standings. Not impossible Dallas wins out, Minnesota wins out.

 

If Dallas wins out, that means we lose Saturday and have to win 1 of the last two games or we go from first round bye and home field throughout to being a wildcard

It's not even his throwing shoulder.

This is definitely precaution.

The Giants and Saints are bad.

Maybe this is will be the wakeup call the coaching staff needs to realize that Hurts doesn't need to run for this team to win.  He's a pocket passer.  The play calling yesterday was absurd.  Don't even call the RPO anymore.  Call a more traditional running game and give Miles Sanders the ball.   Let Hurts toss dimes to Brown and Smith all day long.  Enough with 10-15 runs for the QB.  It's silly and as we see, can get your QB hurt.

Indy should do the honorable thing and cut Foles.

 I’m irritated because miles sanders got 11 rushes and hurts had 17 yesterday. There’s no reason not to use sanders more especially the year he is/was having, against that crap run defense and not have our QB take more hits.

I’d say the same damn thing with josh Allen if he had a miles sanders playing and running as well as he has this year. Don’t need to expose your Qb to more hits when your running game can take some of that burden. Second year in a row he’s had an injury late in the year. So obviously he’s impervious to injury for as strong as he is and avoiding the "big” hit

I hope so, but if we do lose to NO, you have to seriously consider playing Hurts week 18, as that will effectively act as the first round playoff game if we win, skipping round 1 and award us home field

If they lose Saturday, Hurts will play against the Saints. He'll have 2 weeks to rest before the playoff game

Sanders - 8

Hurts - 6
