There's a lot from this game that I'd rather not see again. Mainly any screen that's not to Goedert and the stupid end arounds. Those just end up being wasted downs aside from the 5% of the time they kind of work.

They only ran about 14 of those to Watkins Sunday

Short week stuff is silly.  There is 11 games on Saturday.

And they all are on a short week.  Just because there are a lot doing it doesn't change the timeline.  It is 6 days between games instead of 7.

They have three games to win one. I’m fine with resting Hurts.

If Goedert is back maybe Minshew can beat the cowboys anyway ha

Or Dallas and Minny to lose one each... all 3 outcomes are very likely.

Can we just take a moment to say, '***k you Colts for blowing that game!'

Wouldn't the Eagles have clinched the top seed Sunday if the Vikings had lost that game?

No bc the cowboys still have a chance to clinch the division and HFA

So they're finally acknowledging Hurts shoulder injury?  It's only been about 4 weeks of that weird loop and release point with balls diving all over the place unless it's been a rainbow deep.

I’m just not sure I believe any of this.

This is the same team that…before we knew they were this good…sat out training camp and preseason to bubble wrap people.

Now we know it’s a championship quality team, the #1 seed is all but locked up…

AND we get major draft value by beating the Saints.  AND the Cowboys are a highly likely playoff opponent in just a few weeks.

Yeah.  They just don’t want them to see Hurts and our offense again.

They are gonna take the L, pound the Saints in 2 weeks with the starters to protect the pick, and then take a vacation for the final week and the bye.

I refuse to believe this isn’t calculated.

"This is no sleight to Jalen, but the Eagles have a good football team"

It is about the Philadelphia Eagles, and they are better at every position then the remaining opponents.

Basically the same thing Parsons said... and some people lost their minds over it.

Hurts will be good to go for the play offs but no doubt its a bit of a concern now. A long anxious few weeks ahead.

coaches to blame for this , RB's had 6 carries and jalen 11 going into the 2nd half , no way that should happen.

And there it is. Whoever was in charge of that game plan and play calling should be drawn and f'n quartered. Completely moronic and lacking total common sense. What a f'n joke. Pissed off is not even close to how I am feeling right now. How dumb and blind can they f'n be.
Let's run our young MVP candidate QB into the teeth of the bears defense in bitterly cold weather against a 3-10 team. Pathetic... They saw him taking these hits and continued to do it no less!!! :furious:

He doesn't have to prove anything to us, the Fans, but you can bet the farm his mindset is about his teammates.

If he can go, he will. That's the guy. All In. Surprised no one seems to get that part of him yet.

No bubble wrap, full on Gamer. Beat Dallas is his current Goal.

He'll play, I'm bettin. ...and Rock.

If, as reported, the shoulder injury is a matter of pain tolerance, Hurts will most likely go.  He is a tough son of a gun.

That's the reason he told Mailata to pick him up off the grass.  That's the reason he didn't come out of the game.  That's the reason he played at a high level the rest of the game.  I think he wanted to win that game and he will want to win the game against the Cowboys like he does every other.

That being said, I do think the Eagles can beat the Cowboys with Minshew.  They are really susceptible to the run now with Hankins on IR, Armstrong exiting the game and LVE out.  The Cowboys are also banged up in the secondary.  The Eagles can beat them with a run heavy, PA game plan.

I reacted to your post, except take the L part.

Effm. We beat the crap outa Dallas, in their house, in front of Jerrah and a National Audience, I don't care who's under center.

So There!  It's coming!

I don't buy the injury at all past initial soreness. This is mind F game theory by Siri and Co to F with Dallas and get them to prepare two different gameplans.

Hurts was completely unfazed by the injury as evidenced by his throws after the fact, adrenaline can only mask so much. I would not be surprised one bit if Hurts is a game time start on Saturday.

Yup.  This organization, for better and for worse, has always felt they were running the CIA. They are going to run some ass backwards offense with Minshew and will ensure that not one single play from 60:00 of football is even remotely worth reviewing for preparation of their impending playoff game.  Everyone who watches Saturdays game will somehow know less about the Eagles and feel less confident in who they are than they were before tuning in.

Yea. It’s all a conspiracy. Definitely not just a football player getting banged up after playing a violent sport and having a fat ass land on his shoulder with all his weight.

Are you fat shaming? What a jerk.

In fact I bet that dastardly Sirianni is going to have Jalen play wearing a Minshew mask too!

Are you going to take the bet or not?

News Flash.

I only saw this because you quoted me.

Even the injury reports were straight F'in with people. First it was non-throwing, then it was a collarbone injury, and then it was throwing shoulder. We'll see, but I'm just not buying it being a serious enough injury that that would mandate keeping Hurts out.

Would kinda suck to have an Eagles player twice lose the MVP because of a late season injury.

The past couple years have really opened my eyes at how paranoid and confused so many people can be when it comes to perceiving reality. There's something about their personality that causes them to see hidden motives in just about anything. They have an other-worldly ability to ignore plain facts staring them in the face and instead substitute their own fantasy for reality.

It's an Aortic Aneurysm but they will Ice it and he should be good to go.

Fn Media slobbering all over themselves for a story line....
