  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

The game is not meaningless, but it’s not that important. No reason to play Hurts.

It is a narrative, and the only one you care about.

EAGLES fans want a Lombardi trophy, that is something fans can celebrate.  Fans do not celebrate and talk smack to other teams fans about awards.

Yup, I'm pretty sure Peyton would give away all his regular season hardware for post season success.

Great - guaranteed loss for the Birds now.

I occasionally work with an anesthesia resident who played in the NFL for a few years, mostly with the Jaguars.  He offers one perspective out of thousands of current and former players, but it's always interesting (especially his rankings of where players want to play).  Surprising thing today...which contradicts what most people in the media will tell you...NFL players buy into rivalries.  He said the players really do hate each other in the NFL's bigger, more notorious rivalries; it's not just a construct for the fans.

I imagine, especially when you play a team twice a year, all that trash talking on the field builds up.

Jalen’s health comes first but mannnn I hate losing. And now we are facing a likely loss to THEM. Ugh.

You do realize that this is the same Cowboys team that was a hair's breadth away from losing to the Texans, was beaten by the Packers and the Jags, right?   They are not some unstoppable force.  They are the Cowboys... in December.  They are highly beatable.   And for all the noise some folks made about Micah Parsons' comments about Hurts being the beneficiary of the 'system'... there's a lot of truth to that.  Adding Brown elevated everyone on the receiving corps because they all moved down one peg.  As a #1, Smith is ok, but likely not much more.  As a #2, Smith is a stud.  Watkins as a #2 is disappointing, as a #3 (really #4, because he's after Goedert) he's a pretty nice toy for a deep threat.  And the defense has added some serious beef since the first meeting... and is actually getting healthier.

Besides how fun would it be to beat Dallas, in Dallas, with our Backup QB, on Christmas Eve... AGAIN!

They gotta check their boxes and justify their jobs. I deal with this BS every day as a Contractor in a small town.

Money. That's all it is...

Good for you HE. Need a Builder??? :angel

Makes sense for football given the physical aspect of it. One of the things that has driven me away from the NBA over the years is that it feels like the players are all friends and there really aren’t any true rivalries anymore, and that impacts the team aspect of the game to me in a big game. It’s become a player-centric league rather than teams from a marketing standpoint. You have a lot of Kevin Durant fans but not people who are Nets fans. Lakers have a good fanbase, but a large contingent of LeBron fans aren’t even Lakers fans. Feels the same way with Curry in Golden State.

Hopefully their seeing eye dogs are available for this game.

I know the vegas lines but I’m interested in the injury report tomorrow. I think if he is questionable then he plays. If he is doubtful he is out.

Vegas probably is banking that Hurts playing injured and Minshew playing gives Dallas better odds regardless.

Come redo my bathroom.  I can pay you nothing, but I'll let you bring in potential clients to see the work you did turning my 6' x 10' bathroom into a luxurious 10' x 20' master bath.

They literally wasted at least 3 weeks of our time,  with all the lumber for the project sitting in my front yard.  Plus however long it takes us to get concrete now that at least one of the factories is closed for Christmas week.  And this freezing cold weather...

All that time wasted for no reason at all.

I think he'll be questionable... and I think he won't play.  And I think he'll be listed as questionable, even if in their minds he is "out".

Swung a point and a half in the Eagles favor today after the press conference earlier.

Not no reason... their job security.

Makes sense. Those conferences made me think he has a decent shot of playing.

In a walkthrough, without the backup available.

I think the Bengals have a good chance to finish as the #1 seed in the AFC. The game is in Cinci vs Buffalo, I think the Bengals win that game and win out. The Bengals are playing great football right now. And they have the tiebreaker vs the Chiefs. I can see the Chiefs slipping up in one of their remaining games. They haven't looked great the last couple weeks.

Honestly, if the Eagles were to get to the SB, I think the Bengals would be the toughest matchup. They're very well balanced with the run and pass and have a very underrated defense.

They made the Super Bowl last year. They’re pretty good.

With teammates telling reporters they expect it’s going to be Minshew.

Hurts is totally playing

Don't think that really means anything based on how they have been "resting" starters all season long.

Minshew didn't practice either for Leach's funeral
