Hard to practice for something like that.

No one rested today. It’s a walkthrough. And starting QBs never "rest”. They take the majority, if not all, of the reps for the implementation of the game plan.

Minshew doesn’t even compare. The team let him go to a funeral of someone he cared about. And Minshew is coming back to the team tonight because they need him to run the team practice tomorrow.

Not what I meant.  He didn't attend practice because he was attending Leach's funeral.

Hurts is totally playing

If you guys don’t take siri or hurts seriously with what they told the media why would you take what the teammates said seriously? Eagles are playing mind games right now.

They literally wasted at least 3 weeks of our time,  with all the lumber for the project sitting in my front yard.  Plus however long it takes us to get concrete now that at least one of the factories is closed for Christmas week.  And this freezing cold weather...

All that time wasted for no reason at all.

Anti-Hydro in your concrete so it can cure before it freezes. Just sayin. The Building process sucks sometimes...

Because it doesn’t even make sense. If Hurts was going to be playing why would they suggest there’s a chance he’s playing? it’s not mind games to say on the first day of media availability "yeah there’s a good chance he’s playing” just for him to play.

What makes sense is they know he’s not playing so they are going to act like there’s a chance he plays to have Dallas think it’s possible he plays. And the Goedert quote was a slip of the tongue.

I think we will have a better idea over the course of the next few days.

If Hurts remains DNP, he's not playing, if he's LP, I would bet he plays, if he's FP, there's nothing to talk about.

Yeah.... this has been a long drawn out process. First, the company that is building our house was being sold. So we had to wait for a contract until they had the new business name updated, and stuff sorted out with their insurance. That ended up taking weeks, or months. Then we had an issue with the excavator always being behind and never getting around to us.

So from having funds in hand in July, to a contract, and permits in September to finally excavating end of November. We had concrete scheduled first week of December, but then it was going to come too late in the day so it was cancelled. But lumber still got delivered, and that day the township came and gave us the stop work order.

So, now its looking like maybe we will be shooting to have concrete poured on Tuesday of next week. And hopefully actually building the structure in January.

We almost had it by Christmas, which was my goal. But this whole work stoppage killed that plan.

All this for a pretty simple garage. We will never attempt to build a house. With all thats involved in that. Not something we will ever take on. Too much headache every step of the way.

Slip of the tongue? How do you know that? The other players had a slip of tongue as well? They were told to say that.

Because his answer standing at his locker wasn’t "Minshew is playing.” Someone asked him something and he gave a detailed answer which included what coverage he hoped to see because Minshew was good with that against the Jets game.

Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni saying there’s a chance he plays is literally giving Dallas a head up if it’s true. It doesn’t make sense. So it’s either Nick and Jalen, two people who are coached up what to say before giving interviews had a slip of the tongue, or some random teammates at their locker let out more than they should.

Further, Hurts has always said he doesn’t want his opponents to see him bleed. That’s why he pops up right after every hit. It’s why he told Mailata to "pick him the F up” while Mailata told him to stay down. Of course he’s going to say he’s fine now. That’s his DNA.

And no, a 13-1 team that has an MVP candidate should not be playing mind games if everything is fine. They should be doing it if there is a real scenario Hurts doesn’t play.

Agreed.  If you are a 13-1 team having to play mind games against an inferior opponent, you have problems.

Not my color palate choice... but nice work.

I am definitely going to need some TimeLord technology for my bathroom though.  We were able to expand out kitchen... but our dining room shrunk as a result.   🤷‍♂️

See my response to Last-Up. right above, regarding Colors...and Thanks.

They pick it, I put it on.

Bathrooms are tough to expand, usually limited by Wet walls and adjacent structure.

Changes can be made but that sh!t becomes expensive.

I tell my Clients " Anything is possible, I've got a big saw, you got a big pocketbook?"

We turned a shower tub combo into a seven foot standing shower thanks to some dead space but yeah expanding a bathroom is very difficult

No slight on you for the colors.   My wife picked ours.  My answer was... "ok".  The only rule was, she had to be as happy with it once it was done as she was when she selected.   (Once I painted the living room... and when it dried she said, "Huh... I don't really like this color."   It stayed for 3 years before I repainted it.)

You do realize that this is the same Cowboys team that was a hair's breadth away from losing to the Texans, was beaten by the Packers and the Jags, right?   They are not some unstoppable force.  They are the Cowboys... in December.  They are highly beatable.   And for all the noise some folks made about Micah Parsons' comments about Hurts being the beneficiary of the 'system'... there's a lot of truth to that.  Adding Brown elevated everyone on the receiving corps because they all moved down one peg.  As a #1, Smith is ok, but likely not much more.  As a #2, Smith is a stud.  Watkins as a #2 is disappointing, as a #3 (really #4, because he's after Goedert) he's a pretty nice toy for a deep threat.  And the defense has added some serious beef since the first meeting... and is actually getting healthier.

Besides how fun would it be to beat Dallas, in Dallas, with our Backup QB, on Christmas Eve... AGAIN!

We were kicking the crap out of them in the first game on the ground until Lane went out, no?

The game plan is simple.  GSwag plays. Don't run a single option.  Just run Booby right at them w DG staying in to block to take it easy on him. And throw jump balls to AJ and sideline routes to Devonta who has great feet to go with routes.  F everything else.

Eagles 28 girls 20 w a late scare score but not enough to deal with our 8-minute last drive to end it.

So my bonus is 8+ min last drive to seal the game for the G-Swagles.
