He lived in south Jersey after he retired.  I met him in line at Gaetano's in Willingboro.  Nice guy.  A shame.

They have a statue of him making the Immaculate Reception at the airport in Pittsburgh.

Pick your passion. I prefer ducted systems if at all possible, yours is on an exterior wall, ideal...

Yup.

The problem is, old habits de hard and Hurts kinds of regresses when the game becomes more chaotic or he feels he needs to score points.  He needs to trust the team and the system, rather than be it.

That's why the coaches get paid.

I don't care how much we hate the Cowboys Hurts should take a break this game. Playoffs are much more important. Yes, we can clinch, but chances are good we will anyways. If he goes down for the rest of the season we're probably done.

Hopefully YouTube doesn’t get ST. Rather it was Apple or Amazon

Amazon's TNF has been absolute trash

I have youtube tv, would love for them to get it as an add on like MLB TV or NBA TV.

I still have yet to see the issues people are talking about, but I would rather Sunday Ticket was incorporated with a TV service, and I already have youtube tv

To the bolded... no.  That's not the purpose of the draft.  We drafted a DT #13... and he's playing about 15 snaps a game.   Drafting isn't about the season after the selection, it is about setting yourself up for the future.  Lane has said he's got a very limited amount of time left.  So, getting a replacement is a priority.  And looking at this team's reliance on Lane Johnson 'overpaying' for his replacement is likely not a bad move.   When will the next time be that we'll be in a position to land a top 10 pick?    We can't waste a top 10 pick on a lesser talent or even a top talent at a less valuable position, even if the other pick has to only get spot duty in year 1.

If the OT drafted can also play RG, that's a bonus.  But, I want no part of Jack Driscoll at RT or his like.  He's not good enough.  This team is doing what it is doing because of the lines.  The OL and DL are the keys to success... they are the engine.

Alright - if we are in a scenario that I laid out where Isaac is brought back, Bradberry walks, DL and CB are available when we are the clock -  and Howie drafts RT with an eye towards 2024... I'm glad you will be happy with that thought process.  Also, I don't think Paris Johnson is a BPA unicorn at 9 - so I'm not imagining a situation where we are keeping Orlando Pace in our back pocket for a season/benching Seumalo in favor of him.

And it worked out so well with Dillard.  Both first rounders need to play in 2023.  I mean, if the Seahawks can figure out how to make their first five selections be immediate contributors on a borderline playoff team with Geno Smith at QB, surely the Eagles can get two 1st rounders to be immediate contributors.

Haven’t had any problems with it. Looks amazing

I have prime so that’s one of the reasons I want them to get it. Also because I really like what they’ve done to the UI on prime video over the years

I have also not had the Prime issues that people talk about, but I don't want it to be stand alone.  I want it to be part of the TV service I have.

Hopefully if they get it they are smart, and don't lose it by driving up the price of their service.

Agreed. While I understand taking a tackle, this team has a ton of free agents and holes to fill for next year. If Kelce sticks around another year (and he's playing great so I don't see why not), I think we'll regret that Jurgens pick. Two years on the bench diminishing the value of that rookie contract.

Kinda my thinking. Kill two birds in that the pick can hopefully play rg on the cheap until Lane retires.

thats a big IF on going OL though. Much higher probability its defense imho

Whoever gets it will likely increase their price. Probably make it a stand-alone as well

If you can get Sunday Ticket standalone through YouTube that might be okay. If you have to subscribe to YouTube TV and purchase Sunday Ticket on top of that then I'll pass. Apparently it's expected to be approved by owners today so I guess we'll know soon enough. I do hope they keep the ability to stream up to 4 games at once. I don't like much else about DirecTV's streaming but that feature is one of the things I do like.

Oh and I fully expect the price to go up. I was paying $320 which was already teetering about as high as I'm willing to go.

I mentioned before that I sprained my AC joint, and I actually have the little bump as a permanent memory.

And maybe the orthopedic surgeon just wanted me out of his office, but he basically told me that once its done, its done and therea little risk of re-injury or further injury.  He told me to go ahead and resume sports and other things if it wasnt painful.

For a week or so after, I was sore as hell and couldn't raise my arm above my head without using my other arm to pull it like a prosthetic or something.  But Hurts' obviously isnt that bad or we'd have seen it.

So I think with Hurts, its probably a matter of comfort and convenience.

Don't get me wrong we have to draft OL depth that has the potential for Stout to mold into starter material, but I don't think we'll have the roster this Spring to stash premium picks on the bench.  Semantically, you could argue that Paris Johnson might be the best player at 9 - pragmatically, I think there will be many players similarly graded at that point and roster holes will need to filled.

Rumors are google is paying 2.5B/year for it. Crap

If they get it, need to follow the MLBTV model, by far the best of the sports packages.

They are streaming 162 games per team every year, and the price is $ 129.99, and viewership was up almost 10% last year.

On top of the price being lower, which gets more subscribers, the interface and options are phenomenal.

I guess I should prepare for the cost of my youtubeTV subscription to skyrocket.
