Yes but it’s Christmas Fing Eve and I can’t imagine I’ll be home at that time and was hoping I could use game pass while out to watch it.

Can't DVR it?

The DAL players acted like idiots celebrating at the end of both games last year; it made it more comical that they played all their starters in a season finale that meant nothing to the Eagles, then still laid an egg the following week (or were totally outclassed) by San Francisco at home in the wildcard round.

I doubt the Eagles players have forgotten how classless the Turds were in those games -- they will be playing hard to wrap up the #1 seed in Dallas.  Minshew will be playing with a purpose on Saturday.  I think he'll play well enough (as well as Dak, anyway).

Cowboys being classless is nothing new.  🥱

Either Micah Parsons is right and we beat them with Minshew, or he's wrong that Jalen is an MVP-level player.

(Silver Linings)

I’m not trying to take anything away from Hurts, but I fully expect a hot garbage game plan and an absolutely abysmal showing from the eagles on Saturday….and I’m not blaming that on the Hurts / Minshew drop off.

I was never a Minshew mania person, so I’m not trying to defend him here.

The Eagles threw in the towel on this game halfway during the return on Dak’s pick 6 last Sunday.  They’ll look so bad on Saturday that half of us will question how good they actually are…and that’s exactly what they want.

I honestly think there is some folks that do not want Minshew to win, as it takes the luster of what Hurts has done, and proves that the Eagles are a good team and its about more than one player.

Perhaps Minshew is going to tank just to prove Parsons wrong?

Why do you have to poop on my Christmas Eve?

This actually saves my Christmas Eve. Because if we lost to Dallas at full strength, I’d be a real grinch/Scrooge

I just don’t like the personnel matchup vs Dallas. The key will be how the running game performs without Hurts. I don’t trust the run defense at all vs Dallas. Absolutely need to get them in a situation where they have to pass. We’ll see but we need to figure out ways to get some big chunk plays in the 1st half.

It’s weird but this has a chance to be the most entertaining game this year so far. Don’t get me wrong, blow outs are fun, but they lack most of the elements of what makes a football game great.

It could arguably be the craziest game in the 30 years

Maybe if we get some replacement refs up in it

Play keep away - the DAL defense is falling apart at the seams; run the ball, shorten the game and wait for Dak to mess up.

What do we do for the other 59 minutes

I’m looking forward to the Thursday night game.  Likely more misery for Jets fans and the Jaguars could put more pressure on Tennessee.

Can Malik Willis play well enough to get a win over the Texans?

I think it's the chance to see men dressed up like zebras throwing little yellow pieces of laundry.  Then one of them steps forward on camera... does some hand motions while telling us a fun story, then points to one team... and then he just walks away like it wasn't an amazing moment.   Then... it happens again, usually at a point in the game that seems pivotal.  Does that not happen in every game?

Wait for him to mess up some more.

Run 5-man fronts and see if the DAL line can run or protect… they have a rookie playing LT and Tyron Smith is splitting time with JP at RT after Steele went down recently.

I expect the opposite. I think they'll have a structured gameplan that they should have run against Chicago and make us all say "Where the hell was this last week against the Bears?" Similar to what Reid would do whenever McNabb was out.

And people keep saying that this game doesn't matter for the team after Dallas lost to Jacksonville, which I think is BS. It means a lot to Sirianni, it means a lot to Minshew who is basically auditioning for when he hits free agency, it means a lot to the offensive line after how Mailata responded to the Parsons comments, and it means a lot to the defense to show that they can step up with an offense that will be limited with Hurts out. And it means a lot to clinch the one seed in Dallas's house. The starters want to rest the last week or two of the season, not have to grind out a week 18 win against a division foe if New Orleans somehow catches them next week.

Goedert and CGJ also Pro Bowlers, but couldn't get votes because IR. So I'm going to include them.

Dickerson made it but Mailata didn’t, surprised by that.

Also surprised that Miles made it but Hargarve didn’t.

Pretty surprised to see Dickerson make it. Figured Hargrave or Bradberry would have made it instead
