Well, let’s not pretend you and a few others take every opportunity to ish on Hurts. I get some of that is to mess with RTK. But this stupidity certainly goes both ways

Still always Eagles first, and always root for the Eagles to win, never about 1 player above the team.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

The media are funny.  For years, they have driven up QB controversy for no reason to get ratings, and now they are hold your horses.  Funny

Yeah.  I don’t see how the two equate honestly.  There were people ishing on Miles Sanders too.  So they have to grovel as well?  Or just the people who questioned or still question Hurts?

Yep.  We hammer on players.  Alex Singleton, Sean Considine, Nate Gerry.

After crying about Hurts not playing all day Tuesday, ESP is on WIP right now, and leaves the hosts with this question

"Would you rather win the Super Bowl with Minshew or lose the NFCCG with Hurts"

Guy is so desperate for attention.

How about we leave the names out?    "Would you rather win the Super Bowl, or lose the NFCCG?"

I think we got the answer in 2017.  We want to win the Super Bowl... period.

The NFL did a favour to the Eagles with playing in Dallas this week

So you're saying Eagles should build a dome....

Is that a serious question?  If so, who in their right mind would even answer losing the NFCCG instead of winning a SB?

Carson Wentz?

The McNabb family in 2006?

I'd prefer not to, but playing in Chicago this week would be a tough one compared with last week.

Come on man.  I know me, personally I’ve atoned numerous times in here and the Hurts thread.  Not that it should matter or makes a difference anyway, but people are allowed to be wrong about a player.  Hell, most in here were wrong about him to a point.  He still has to show in in the playoffs.  But It’s absolutely insane to cry about Hurts not getting the MVP.  If for nothing else, then the fact that no MVP has won the SB since 1999.

It ain’t about being wrong. I was wrong as F about him. I thought the progress he’s made was factually impossible. I was wrong as anyone. That’s not what I’m talking about.

There’s two or three posters in here (you’re not one of them) that still ish on Hurts every opportunity they get. He has a bad drive and people get all crazy. It’s almost as if they don’t watch the NFL. Mahomes, Allen and Burrow all have bad drives/games. It’s just annoying, is all. There’s also as many guys in here that want to see Minshew fail just to prove their Hurts narrative.

I mean, how lucky is RTK, though? He digs his heels in all summer about something that was pretty much impossible, and it actually happened. He likes to act like it was some sort of genius scouting on his part, but yeah. Crazy stuff.

Of course Hurts needs to prove it in the playoffs and isn’t above criticism. That’s not what I’m talking about.

Grovel? Do you read the blog on game days? I’m not some Hurts hugger. But I can admit when I’m wrong without having to try to use every imperfect play as evidence that I may have been right. It’s only a couple dudes. And it ain’t you. "Grovel” is not really what I’m saying. But admitting the guy is way better than we thought isn’t groveling. It’s just admitting an obvious fact

Football is meant to be played in the elements.

Drinking the I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche

^^
I forgot about that. Had to use the term pom pom waivers instead. Used it a lot when I’d criticize Wentz for trying to be Houdini too often. People would get so upset

I don’t think games day reactions are good indicators of anything. Games are emotional and people react quickly.

You’re the one who thinks McNabb was a bad QB, right?

Kudos on the risky AI search. That could have came out very interesting.

Anybody that ever played Madden back in 94, 95, 96, this is what every player looked like.

Yes, you can tell from the reactions after the news broke that some folks care more about Hurts and the MVP award than the Eagles goal of winning a Super Bowl.

What if they sign Kaepernick and he takes us to the SB?
