Schefter called it an SC joint sprain, not an AC joint sprain. Not sure if that matters or makes a difference. I googled and an article way back from 2012 says a mild SC joint sprain can be 4-6 weeks.

But it had been already said to be an AC joint sprain. So I don't know.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

It doesn't matter.

Mechanism of injury is the same.

Treatment is the same.

Meatless lasagna, cod, and calamari tomorrow for Christmas Eve

Go Eagles!

Despite all the challenges they have faced with injuries etc,, the Sixers are within 2 losses of the NBA East leading Celtics and Bucks.  Pretty amazing.

Had surgery to repair rotator cuff, biceps tendon, and shoulder labral tears. Apparently when I first came to in recovery the surgeon stopped in and I was asking him about hurts’ recovery and not mine. Then they had to call my wife back immediately because I was "trying to escape.”  Anesthesia is a funny thing I guess.

Well it's Cowboys Week.......But it's also Christmas time.  The Birds magic number is now down to one game with three to go.   Our Field General Jalen in taking some R&R (Rest and Recovery).  So its going to be Minshew Mania time.   Jalen has played 17 games since he last missed a game.  Our record during that time is 16-1.   Let's just say we've been really spoiled with QB play over this last year.   Jalen's health for the playoffs is the most important so though I know he's a warrior that wanted to play.  It was best for him to take a break.   With that said, there's a reason The Birds have been the best team in the NFL all year long.   They can absolutely go into the Dallas and win this Division.   The NFC BEAST this year has been the best Division in Football.   So all this talk about are the Eagles "Battle Tested".   Well when you play in the winningest Division I say yes.   The only reason the Eagles haven't clinched their division at 13 wins is because of how good the Division is playing.

The Cowboys have been obsessing over this Christmas Eve game for weeks.  From Micah talking......To the point they got put on the ropes by the Texans and let Dougie P and Jags drop a 40 Burger on them.   Meanwhile the Birds are on a 5 Game Winning streak since their only loss of the season.   Our WR's group, Our Running Game and our Defense should be able to take care of business today.  Minshew just needs to play smart football and manage the game.    The Eagles have played several times during Christmas.   Jeff Garcia in Dallas....Nick Foles against the Raiders during the Super Bowl Year.  Also in 2011 on Christmas Eve, the Birds beat Dallas to sweep them.    The Eagles seem to always play well during the Holiday Season.   Today will be no different.  Dallas will underestimate Minshew and the Birds because Jalen isn't playing and they will pay for it.    Also The Birds have some good Christmas Energy with their new Critically Acclaimed "Philly Special Christmas" album.   Love the Charlie Brown homage too for the cover.   This Defense is going to force Dak into more interceptions and mistakes.   Also our Running game should be able to take over as well.    Cowboys get shell-shocked in Dallas and lose the Division at Home.

THE BOYS - 17

Miles - Rush TD

Boston - Rush TD

 AJ - TD

Goedert - TD

Jake  - FG

dallas 27 eagles 17, not as close as score says, dallas dominates, eagles get caught looking to playoffs, rtk laments that if we'd only had hurts, the board completely turns on each other, numerous posters blame the D coordinator, rtk keeps smiling because hurts wasnt in there

My quick google search came to 2-8 weeks for a regular guy but significantly less with a rehab program. If this game was more important he‘d probably get a shot and play. Good that he can just rest it though.

So, will you be able to play today?  Rub some dirt on it.

Seriously, best of luck on a quick and relatively pain free recovery.

Weird rule.

Yes and a dumb rule. Sooner or later the rules will all be thrown out because it’s gotta be next to impossible to police.

If you really want to bet all you have to do is create a fake name/account or link it to someone else’s account. It really can’t be that hard.

We just got back into double digit temperatures, but as it pushes towards 32, we are going to get freezing rain, which generally means power outages in our area.

Just got an alert that Hurts is "uncertain” for next week per Adam Schefter. Hopefully they just take care of business tomorrow.

So he's not playing today..........................

My daughter had surgery and afterward they walked us back into the recovery ward. Next to my daughter was a large man coming out of anesthesia following what I assumed was a rotator cuff repair as he was in a large black sling with his arm velcroed to his chest. Anyway, he was really disoriented and was trying to pull off his sling and remove all tubing. Fortunately, the 4-5 nurses surrounding him were able to calm him down.

It's crazy how much more noticeable any air leaks in your house are when it's 0 degrees with 20+ mph winds. Replaced the bad half of the windows this year and thought the remaining old ones were "good enough" for now. Guess not.

Wouldn’t eat their barbecue unless someone paid me to do it and the jerky they advertise is bleh.  More crap than a Cracker Barrel but the stores are always packed. For old timers, it’s like a Stuckey’s Supercenter. Gas seems to be competitively priced and no trucks allowed.
