False he is actually hitting the middle of the field

I was referring to his last 3 passes which he lofted out of bounds 3 straight times as he ran towards that sideline.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

What was the plan on those last 3 plays? Throw to the left out of bounds?

I think it was to throw it away unless there was a clear TD option available.    Just don't take a sack... or throw a completion in bounds.

Gardner isn’t a guy you want throwing outside the numbers in high leverage situations - just doesn’t have the arm… needs the whole field.

20-17, I’ll take it.

This is Minshew's first snaps in anger since last season - he needs to better, but so far, he's not pulled a Zach Wilson out there

Goedert cost us that drive.  Learning experience for Goedert.

He made the big 3rd down catch….

no punts in this game but thats due to turnovers and scoring

Every ball is a floater, not much zip on these out routes.

He is a good backup but probably not much more. Arm is meh so if he has to reset or throw off platform it tends to be a floater

Just find a way, boys

Minshew definitely missed some big throws.  Many of his passes he looks like he's stepping backwards not stepping into his throw.

Hopefully he clams down, his panicking is compounding his limitations.

Nobody was harder on Hurts and I've been saying I hope he comes back fast all week

Yeah that's maybe the biggest MVP selling point for Hurts is he was able to turn the one person honest enough to say they flat out didn't like Hurts.

Can't take a sack so just playing it safe and keeping everything in front of him.

Agreed.  But he's been back pedaling a lot before those last 3 plays.   On the last 3 though, he was backpedaling on all 3 for sure to avoid a sack and still have the outlet to overthrow Gainwell to the left.

Backpedal and throwaway has been a staple of the offense today

Got points on a 2 minute drill with a dope Dallas play

He did.  But at the same time, you can't be out of position on the spike to stop the clock.  Just as important.

Eagles should be winning by more

Mialata is getting worked by Parsons

Yup they gotta help him out cause Dallas isn't gonna make parsons have to go against lane

Tweet Chris simms and ask if he still thinks you can plug anyone into the offense and it will look the same.

Don't worry he will somehow find a way to sell that this week. He can't help but continue to die on that hill.

First time I’ve seen a QB throw the ball away out of bounds on three consecutive plays.  Minshew has been okay, not bad — but hard to even assert he’s been good.

Gannon needs to take Lamb out of the game from the slot; it’s an easy pitch and catch for him and Dak so far.  Have to shut that down and make them adjust.

The CBs can hold up outside but without GCJ the interior pass defense is weak.

Minshew does not look confident throwing the ball. Feel like he’s lobbing it

The penalty from Goedert...  Drive killer, sadly.

Self-inflicted wounds today.   Could have been off the field defensively on two different drives that ended in TDs, but couldn't finish the play.   Offensively, poor execution on the first drive in the RZ.  Bad INT by Minshew, stared down his receiver and Watkins showed no effort to make a play on the ball.   Last drive could have gotten at least closer to the end zone, but that penalty destroyed their push.

Not everyone’s going to be Nick Foles. Minshew has been fine relatively speaking for a backup QB.

Minshew is backpedaling far too much.

Never seems to hit his back foot and plant.

Rolling out is his strength so call em! Helps against the rush, as well.

Still should be pounding the ball against these guys, anyway. Big Dogs are hungry.

Not sure where Sanders went.   Might be banged up.
