  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

That Panthers WR group is total boom or bust.  All under 25, tons of talent but can any of them reach their potential?  They also have Charleston Rambo, who I loved at OU before he transferred to Miami.  He probably goes to the PS but I like what he brings to the table.

DJ Moore

Terrace Marshall

Shi Smith

Laviska Shenault

the 49ers move is a very big gamble. It's either going to turn out horrible or great, don't see much in the middle.

I get your point but DJ Moore has very much lived up to his potential already

They managed to screw over Jimmy G, and undermine their young franchise QB. Incredible business.

They already know Jimmy G can't get them over the hump and they've made the decision to go with Lance.  If Lance underperforms this season, they have a backup in place that can win games for them and give Lance additional time to develop.

It's a lot better than cutting him and letting SEA pick him up to play in the two divisional games against them.

That. And i believe Robbie "I’m retiring if we get baker” Anderson is also still there. Frankly I’d watch how atlanta uses cordarelle Patterson and try to do that with shenault. I think that’s the perfect role for him in that offense. Also takes some of the hits and carries away from CMC.

they also have rashad higgins.

Yea, Anderson is still there.  Was just focusing on the young guys.  Shenault 100% should be used like Patterson or Debo.

I hope the Eagles keep Devon Allen on the 53. Great potential as a gunner and occasional shot player. No reason to keep Reagor if you can get literally anything for him.

Greg Ward gone

Until he’s back again on Wednesday

Dude in the top left looks like he's drooling watching a shirtless TO do pushups.

@olsilverhair found a working time machine?

So who are the 5/6 WRs gonna be. Assuming we keep a Reagor, that leaves at least one open spot. Who you got? I’d assume Allen or Cain. My guess would be Allen based on STs ability.

Good news for Cain hopefully.

@LeanMeanGM will you please explain to RTK that Carson Strong does not qualify for the award based on the necessary criteria.

Thursday.  Dick-rod will be back on Wednesday.

I'd be surprised if Cain makes it.

They're gonna have to fight Doug for him.  That Shenault trade opens up a spot for his prodigal son.

Deon Cain is the clear Nasty Nate winner this year. Surprising camp performance, a couple highlights in preseason, likely no future on the active roster.

I would’ve dealt Reagor for Shenault

Has there been an announcement for the national day time game for week 1? Hope it's Raiders/Chargers. That division is gonna be a fun ride.

No

In RTK's words, that's "beyond pathetic"

All Deon Cain had to do was play respectable against the Dolphins and he probably makes the team.  He was great against the Browns.

He was targeted 8 times in Miami and only came away with 2 catches.

I was a big fan but he cost himself a job.  Only himself to blame, not the numbers game.

I remember when he came out, I really liked him. I knew the Eagles wouldn’t draft him because he had injury issues especially leading up to the draft. However I didn’t think he would be as successful or a fit here because I didn’t think we had the creativity to use him in the way that he needed to be used. I think he had the same problem in Jacksonville where they didn’t have very much creativity.

Not so sure he is better off in Carolina. He’s buried behind multiple WRs and just two weeks away from the start of the year. they have cmc and Hubbard. Plus i think that coach isn’t staff might be canned by year’s end.

I’d actually have liked to get him if he was cut. But i thought two teams that would likely maximize his strengths would’ve have been the niners and KC. I’d say rams but they have a ton of WR/Rb depth

Anyone still listen to Inside the Birds? I'd love to hear Adam Caplan's rambling breakdown of the Carson Strong situation.
