Don't get on Gannon.

Dallas' four TDs:

  1.  Three plays out of structure.
  2.  Short field off a turnover and included a fourth down penalty.
  3.  Short field off a turnover.
  4.  That f-ing 3rd-and-30 because his backup nickel got lost

Held their RBs to 74 yards.

Again, they had to defend after 4 turnovers.

Dak threw for 350yds and 3 TDs. We're not going anywhere in the playoffs if we can't do better than that.

Don’t let Gannon off the hook. It was a stupid call. Play sticks. Give up 15 yards. Get off the field.

Inexcusable.

Did he coach slay to keep his eyes in the backfield??

And lock Saints out of the playoff race aka pick goes from 10ish to 20

Saints aren’t completely out of it yet. 6-9. Tampa is 6-8 and Carolina 6-8. The saints win out and Carolina and Az beat tampa they can win the division.

Plus, this a great motivation point to the team. We could have rotated players in and out, but you went and turned the ball over 4 times and let some big plays happen on D.  You want some time away, gotta be ruthless

Turnovers was the game. They keep Dallas to 2 and win this game

The defense and turnovers lost the game - Minshew was fine.

Oh yeah, you don't throw to Watkins on crucial downs any more or if he's got a DB near him.

Slay messed up. I said a bunch of times. Why are we in that coverage anyway?

This pretty much confirms that we need to sign CGJ though. Without good safety play our pass defense turns to trash. Doesn't matter how good Bradberry and Slay are.

Has hirts ever thrown for 355 with 14.8 per completion?

Straight up pissed that game away, to the f'ing Cowboys of all teams.  Gross.  They have our number, that's all there is to it

How would have sticks helped?  Hilton ran all the way down field.  The guy responsible for him didn't make the play.

Random, possibly irrational post-loss thought....

Is it me, or are the Eagles not great at recovering fumbles? Two weeks in a row with some real tough breaks there.

Nothing jumps out to me that doesn’t look like most of the NFL, which just seems weird.

Call 2 Man Under, and don't even give Slay the choice. Take your chances that Dak can't hit the hole that deep against a slot CB.

Also we need to make Smitty the primary WR, he is F'in awesome.

Quite the game. The Cowboys needed 4 turnovers, a Hail Mary 3rd and 30 play, and a couple other get out of jail plays and still had to hold their breath to beat a Minshew led Eagles playing their 3rd straight away game.

As long as Lane isn’t seriously injured than I’m good with this one despite the fact that we let them off the hook. Always super tough to beat the same team three times in one year and we will be at home next time.

Quez was a net negative today. Wouldn't mind more Pascal in the playoffs.

That is in doors.  I don't see him putting the same numbers up in Philly as long as it's cold, windy, snowy, etc.

I am most disappointed in Watkins. I thought he could become a good player for us, but he is just too soft.

And what's up with Slay?

Gannon. What scares me with the eagles is we’ve faced 3 top 10 dvoa offenses: packers (yup amazing to think about), Dallas (with Dak) and lions. Eagles have given up 33, 40 and 35. At some point Gannon needs to figure crap out cause his defense is getting torched. I get maddox left but if your defense completely falls apart cause of maddox we have issues. He’s never stayed healthy so the reliability factor is always there. Can at least move cgj to slot when he’s healthy and maddox is out

Quarters would make far more sense

but if the dbs are undisciplined what can he do?

Losing the game and Maddox, Davis, and Lane would be one hell of a gut punch.

I don't know how many times Gannon has to watch good offenses go up and down the field before he's willing to be more aggressive. I've said it all year. This defense is not good when they are sitting back. Dallas had the better approach on defense. They constantly put pressure in our face. We needed to do the same thing.

Sticks coverage has about six guys deep. The throw doesn’t get attempted.

We'll know before the Eagles play on Sunday if they need the Saints game for the NFC East since Dallas plays Thursday night.
