  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Minshew failed to have his Koy Detmer on MNF @ 49ers moment.  Honestly might be able to sign him back as a backup after that.

Pascal is a better blocking WR than Quez, and we ready have 3 stud weapons. Get Quez, off the field, he can't be trusted.

I'm really confused with the last 2-3 weeks and the offense's insistence in getting the ball to Quez on comebacks, outs and contested catches all within 10 yards of the LOS.  He's a good deep ball WR and should be used in that manner once in a while to keep the defense honest.  There's absolutely no reason to force the ball to him underneath when he's easily the 6th best option when he isn't going deep.  For the life of me I don't understand why they are trying to get him the ball in these situations.  Get him off the field is the correct response.

Holy F.  We’re 13-2 and most likely won’t get on a plane until the SB.  Hope Lane is able to come back for the playoffs and finish this ish out next week.

The way some are acting it’s like we’re still fighting for the 7th seed.

Nope.  Should have won a minus-3 turnover game with our backup QB and missing two out of five starting DBs.

We're screwed.

No thanks.

So some negatives and positives:

negatives:

1. Scott and sanders fumbles are inexcusable. Frankly stop using Scott he shouldnt be taking away rushes from sanders unless it’s the giants.

2. Gannon has some issues against better offenses. Defense has faced 3 dvoa top 10 offenses and Gannon’a defense has given up 33, 35 and 40 points. Some is on turnovers by the offense but Dak being 24-24 against zone is ridiculous. At some point if maddox is the missing linchpin to your defense completely falling apart we got issues. Way to long to adjust how we covered lamb

3. turnovers. Last two weeks we’ve combined for 7. Since the Washington game we’ve had 14 turnovers in 7 games. About 2 turnovers a game. Both games we’ve lost had 4 (last one in Washington was kind of BS). Can’t turn the ball over like against the bears and Dallas expecting to win. Just got to protect it better.

4. Losing Lane would be massive. Really need him healthy for the playoffs. Not sure how long driscoll stays healthy or effective.

5. Quez needs to not be getting 5-6 targets a game like he has for the past months. He’s not good enough to take targets away from brown, goedert and smith

6. Sanders needs to figure out his fumbling issue  this is why doug and the previous staff took him out in late games at times

positives

1. Really nice to finally have WRs like brown and smith.

2. Pass rush looked solid. Got to finish sacks but pass rush was good. Probably should’ve had another turnover of guys can recover the ball better

3. Gainwell actually looked good when they got him the ball.

4. Minshew like to have a couple throws back but for a backup he did what you could ask of him by scoring 27 and keeping them in the game.

Maddox and Lane just can’t stay healthy.

What do you mean, at this point? Are you waving a white flag on behalf of the team?

With Maddox.  Hes hurt more than healthy and what does he do?  He blew a wide open sack today, missed a bunch of tackles

He's not some indespensible player for us

I know this was posted already, but it’s worth posting over and over. What an embarrassment.

No thanks?  Man, you really don’t like that guy.  What is it?  Did you find out he doesn’t like terrible music like Jimmy Buffet?

He actually played for my Alma Mater…do you have one of those?

Im just real about what he is (isn’t)

Don't know why they don't actually throw it to Pascal. I have more trust in him than in Watkins.

Please understand that they don't necessarily call Quez' number as often as it appears..  I can guarantee that they are calling plays for the big 3.  But if the defense shows a certain coverage that eliminates the first read, Quez sometimes becomes the next option.

Really disappointed that Goedert didn’t get more looks.

Ridiculous. Gannon coached like he was playing against Jake Fromm. His inexperience showed.

I thought when they got into that last red zone they’d utilize him as he’d be middle of the field and Dallas likely giving that to you to tackle and make the clock tick. I thought it was an area they should’ve exploited more than they did

Didn’t think so, I take you more for a GED kinda guy 😂

But it's the way they are using him.  The way they are using Watkins is an area where Pascal can thrive using his big body and strength.  Watkins doesn't have the skillset to be used the way they are using him.

Reddick and Sweat got it going from the edge, but the secondary…which has been the league’s best all year…was absolutely horrific.

Not really.

That's what happens when you sit back in zone over and over again. Gannon expects his DL to win every rep. He puts too much pressure on them. There comes a time in games against good offenses when you have to be more aggressive... just like Dallas was today. You can't just sit back against good teams. You have to challenge.

He’s a back up, a very good back up and you don’t want him as the back up.

Makes sense.

4 years in the military, 2 years college only got an AS.  Still doing pretty well, thanks though man.

I guess the Jimmy Buffet line hit a nerve.  How many concerts have you been too?  Probably a lot I bet.  How often does he play his 4 songs at those concerts?  Inquiring minds bro.

Associates 😂😂😂

I need to see a replay of that fumble recovery, still have zero idea how it wasn’t our ball

The secondary was bad, especially the safeties, but it's hard for me to fault the corners too much when our zones were toast from the start. Gannon was severely out-coached.

Quite the game. The Cowboys needed 4 turnovers, a Hail Mary 3rd and 30 play, and a couple other get out of jail plays and still had to hold their breath to beat a Minshew led Eagles playing their 3rd straight away game.

As long as Lane isn’t seriously injured than I’m good with this one despite the fact that we let them off the hook. Always super tough to beat the same team three times in one year and we will be at home next time.

Nice take. No panic. It's football.
