First time in franchise history we had 2 1000 yard receivers. And can I say thank God we have Brown and Smith. Smith has gone to a whole other level the past couple weeks. He’s taking shots and hanging on and making some ridiculous catches like his one on the sideline.

I think the Minshew vs Hurts narrative will be strong this week. Dak missed first game and we won by multiple possessions. Hurts missed this game and we were down by 6 and in the redzone at the end in Dallas

They won’t give this one to Dallas

Just win against New Orleans please 🤞

He’s been a baller. He’s catching too many hospital balls.

They also rushed towards the end of the game to encourage him to run to his left. He was terrible.

.  Wow.  Terrible?   That seems a bit of an overstatement.  Terrible was Josiah Scott.   Terrible was Quez Watkins.  Terrible was that fumble by Sanders.

Minshew was ok.   Dallas was giving up 19 points a game going in.  Eagles offense put up 27.  That's not 'terrible'.   He looked lost at times.  He looked like a backup at times.  But, he wasn't terrible.

The Eagles likely win today with Hurts at QB, but this game wasn't lost because of Minshew.  Different game plan, different style of play.  And Minshew needs to be able to trust his WRs, especially over the middle.  Watkins was brutally weak and was responsible for both INTs thrown.  The first wasn't a great throw, but it was good enough that Watkins could have made a play on the ball... he didn't.   The second one was 100% on Watkins.  He allowed the DB to rip it away from him.  Inexcusable.

Minshew trusted the S out of his receivers. He trusted that they wouldn’t die catching some of those cans of corn.

That’s such a stupid comment. Sure he’s probably better then sone of the lower tier qbs but he’s not top 10 or 15.

Quez Watkins has caused 3 INTs in the last 2 weeks, through poor route-running and lack of toughness. He needs significantly less targets. Just throw to Brown , Goedert or Devonta. This is how the Rams won their SB last year. Feed your studs, even when they're covered.

He has to.  He's a backup.   Not sure what folks expect from him.

Doesn’t a cowboy loss against the titans get us the division since we’re 2 up in the loss column?

Dude, he is playing at a MVP level this season.  If he didn't miss the Cowboys game he was leading the MVP race.  He might still be able to get it if he comes back for the Saints and has a great game to secure the #1 seed before resting up for the playoffs.

I'd like to see more Zach Pascal, honestly.  He's tough, and you can trust him to be tough.

I expected him to be more accurate, that’s for sure. I’m didn’t think his arm was that good coming into today, but it looked downright weak today.

But he made the correct read and gave his receivers a chance. He was good enough to win with due to his elite supporting cast.

I don't know.  Many here have stated that not only is he a starter but most here prior to this season would have argued that he was the better QB on the team.  I think he is a starter and will likely start somewhere next year and might do well as a starter in the right situation.  But he clearly isn't as good as Hurts.  But not many are at this point, that is just how good Hurts has become.

That comment was about Minshew not Hurts. Hurts is definitely a top 5 qb this year. Don’t think he gets MVP with how Mahomes has been playing but he’ll get sone votes.

I see a tough and very stressful game that can go either way, unfortunately.

Minshew put up rather big passing numbers today but I thought his performance was just somewhere between okay and pretty good.  The Eagles had a loaded offense and his OL played well enough to give up zero sacks — but I thought Minshew had happy feet in the pocket too often and his throws didn’t have much zip.  Still, he was pretty good considering he was thrown into his first start in Week 16 against a 10-4 team on the road.

He didn’t embarrass himself by any means, but I also don’t see him as a starting QB on a really good NFL team, either.  He threw two picks (although Watkins can share blame for both) and I’m not sure whether to blame him or Scott more for the one fumble.

Difference in the game came down to four moments...

Eagles up 7, ball is on the ground, Dallas out fought the DL for the ball.
Eagles up 7, 3rd and 30... and the Eagles couldn't get off the field (that was a theme for the day).
Eagles down 3, Sanders drops the ball... Dallas manages to land on it, instead of Driscoll.
Game is tied, Quez allows the DB to wrestle the ball away from him.

Any of those plays go the other way, and I have no doubt the Eagles win this game today.

Seriously bud, you’re just way out of your depth on this one.

Keep at it, though. I’m sure you’ll get the next one!

Probably 😭. Nothings ever easy.

I haven’t seen the first interception to him today because I had to drive home from my in-laws during that drive. Looks like the Cowboys got away with clear DPI on that still frame.

Agree.  Not sure how much of that was him just not trusting himself or the timing.  Seemed like a few times he was just trying to place the ball rather than throw it.

I’m talking about Minshew not Hurts. Hurts is certainly a top 5 qb this year at least. He’s gotta do it for more then 1 year though to be considered top 5 past this year.
