Probably Jonathan Gannon

I'd believe it. Let's get rid of him for the thread!

Here’s the lane tweet

We’re done without him.  Just have to hope it’s not serious.  But with the lack of updates I’m assuming bad news is coming

To be fair, he wasn’t close to the LOS or in the box. He took a terrible angle. That happens when you’re not really a safety.

I stand corrected - it just seemed like Scott had to run a mile to get to his assignment. In reality it was a ‘if I’m even I’m leav’in’ situation - which isn’t something the deep man should allow.

Shoot. Gannon hasn’t slowed anything down today.

How high is the Saints draft pick after today?

Seems like we should try playing man in the playoffs against them.

Tomlin's gonna punt on 1st and 10 next series.

People complaining on Twitter about the ball to the end zone where smith got hit and should’ve been Pi. Frankly i don’t think it was catchable and that’s why it didn’t get called. Then again slay got called for illegal contact downfield on a throw that Dak threw 10 yards out of bounds

I think it’s still 9 but we’re losing the upside of a 2 losses scenario and another win will really tumble the value.

Defense disappointed me way more than anything that happened on offense.

Turnovers can be anomalous.

Poor defense can end playoff runs.

I think we may get the call if DeVonta holds his ground a little instead of backing out of the endzone himself a bit.

Re: offense/defense.

We're about to play outdoors in January. It significantly changes how offenses have to play. It negates speed,

I hope Steelers lose but I hate both teams

There’s always an argument that can be made, that the QB had to throw the ball 10 yards out of bounds because the WR was held and the QB has no choice but to give up on the route and get rid of the ball.   I’m fine with that call, Slay shouldn’t have committed the penalty.

Oh it was an awful penalty by slay. Especially cause the eagles actually had decent pressure on the play if i remember correctly ans we had good coverage until he did it.

Eagles were awful on 3rd down in the first half of the game. Dallas was 6 of 8. In the second half the defense outside of the 3rd and 30 were good on third down. Dallas was 2 of  7.

Steelers getting both of those reviews in their favour. Coin flips matter

Josh McDaniels and double digit leads 😂😂

I suspect the reason Quez is used as much as he is is that he forces the opposing D to devote resources to deep routes, thereby opening up the middle of the field.  Paschal may not have enough deep speed to fill that role.

We’ve seen that Quez sucks on 50/50 balls and won’t fend off a db.  So don’t put him in that position.

Had Hurts played, Quez probably never would have been in that position.  Quez’ job is to keep the defense on its heels.  You can throw him a route downfield with the anticipation of him breaking open.  But don’t throw him something underneath expecting him to make a play in traffic.

Quez is fine.  I figured he’d get a lot of blame for his role in the ints today, but I see that as a qb issue.
