Buccaneers still lead the south surprisingly. Hopefully they win the south and eliminate boys in WC.

I wouldn’t put it last the eagles to put together a completely garbage game plan on defense today with the zone coverage for the sole purpose of giving Dak a completely different look in the playoffs.

Man I hope you are right.

Otherwise, Gannon can eat Tide pods.

I can't remember the last game that I should be upset about, but I'm not.

Backup QB almost wins a game against the second best team in the NFL? Not worried about them. Just win against NO or NYG and the Cowboy's party tonight is really moot.

Like i said to RTK i think some of it was that. I’m guessing you see a different approach. Also losing maddox so early really screwed with the gameplan. I think they were likely gonna use maddox in a hybrid type role and basically got stuck with Scott and Blankenship.

I also think in the second half they made adjustments. It’s why you didn’t see lamb just absolutely destroying them in the second half. Also a couple fumble recoveries go our way it looks much different. the Eagles defense wasn’t great all game. In the second half they shot themselves in the foot especially that third and 30 (not recovering the strip sack). That play was an epic Fing disaster. However the fact the Dallas had starting to field position at the Eagles 31, the Eagles 21 and at their own 40 is a tough spot for any defense. They gave up 13 points off turnovers with that field position.

I think a concern starts being the Eagles in 4 out of their last 7 games have had 2 or more turnovers. You cannot do that and expect to win games against better teams. You have to protect the ball better. I can live with interceptions by our back up QB. I’d hope he wouldn’t. He’s a backup for a reason but you cannot have a fumble from Miles Sanders and Boston Scott on plays where Dallas defense does next to nothing. Scott and sanders have to secure the ball.

That just seems very careless to me

Can I get that in the form of a song please?

That I loop over and over again.

We had some stupid turnovers today. Not the norm. I ain’t even worried. Devonta is so talented. I feel fine.

F'in love this guy.

His last 6 games he has 33 receptions for 533 yards and 4 tds. That’s an average of 88.9 yards per game on 5.5 receptions and a 16.2 yards per catch. If he did that pace for 17 games it would equate to 1510 yards, 93.5 receptions and 11.3 tds

He's more like 1B, and will soon be 1A.

Soon to be WR1.

Is AJ hurt?

Yeah, it was more or less noncircumstantial for either team. We were the 1 seed yesterday and they were the 5, and it’ll be the same a month from now

Would he be walking around if it was something that would make him not able to play next week?

Yeah, could be a sports hernia

There was also an oddly heavy usage of Gainwell over Sanders early and often in the game, especially on a redzone trip. Gotta believe that was an attempt to keep Miles healthy in a mostly meaningless game and lessen his load u til the playoffs where he's see a heavy workload.

I'm not getting over 3rd and 30 or the a-hole fumble. Sick feeling I'm not getting past for a while.

Difference in the game came down to four moments...

Eagles up 7, ball is on the ground, Dallas out fought the DL for the ball.
Eagles up 7, 3rd and 30... and the Eagles couldn't get off the field (that was a theme for the day).
Eagles down 3, Sanders drops the ball... Dallas manages to land on it, instead of Driscoll.
Game is tied, Quez allows the DB to wrestle the ball away from him.

Any of those plays go the other way, and I have no doubt the Eagles win this game today.

I think the Maddox non-sack of Dak was pretty big too...especially since there have been quite a few quick whistles the last few weeks.  If that's a sack, Eagles keep momentum and who knows what happens early.

To the eagles credit gainwell was really effective in most of his touches today.

Or the refs giving the ball to the Cowboys after signaling the Eagles.
