So when is cjg supposed to be available

I believe he's eligible to return next week but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he's held out until the playoffs.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Merry Christmas, Bloggers.

I suspect the reason Quez is used as much as he is is that he forces the opposing D to devote resources to deep routes, thereby opening up the middle of the field.  Paschal may not have enough deep speed to fill that role.

I don't care.  We have enough speed with Smith and Brown.  Watkins is leading to too many turnovers.

Merry Christmas, you filthy animals!

I think the Eagles were selectively trying to compete yesterday.

Probably more zone than they’d otherwise show, less Sanders, no Hurts, more Minshew just dropping back and throwing it to the end of a route just hoping someone breaks open.

I honestly don’t like that approach.  I think you need to be all in or all out.  In a cruel irony, they probably accumulated more injuries in this half ass game than they have in any game all year…so look where it got them.

Go all out next week…all starters, all game… and sit everyone, everyone against the Giants.

Clearly, it is time to elevate Greg Ward.

JK.  Pascal needs those reps.

I think the Maddox non-sack of Dak was pretty big too...especially since there have been quite a few quick whistles the last few weeks.  If that's a sack, Eagles keep momentum and who knows what happens early.

Agreed, but I was thinking of 2nd half plays, but that was one of the 'failure to get off the field' moments.  Lots of those, honestly.

So far the formula for beating the Eagles is to force them into 4 turnovers.

Still can't believe we let up that 3rd and 30.  WTF man, biggest play of the game.

Or it's because Gainwell is just as good as Miles Sanders is

Not even close.  Gainwell isn't horrible but we could really use a better 2nd option after Sanders.  Ajayi was fantastic in that role back in 2017.  Gainwell is just meh.

What's the word on Johnson's injury?

Nothing official. Hoping it's not a sports hernia.

Push down the middle of the field and find a way to get the trio of terror (Scott/Wallace/Blankenship) isolated in bad matchups.

I wasn’t a Kyle Hamilton fan in the draft, but he’d be a hell of a lot more useful than Jordan Davis right now.

Wallace made a play last night,

Those two (Maddox not bringing down Dak AND the 3rd/30) were the biggest but if felt like there were several of those.  I think there is a silver lining with this game to be honest.  It all depends on the Lane injury situation.  If he can be back for the playoffs at least (if not next week) then I think all in all this one is fine and we will look back on it as bump in the road.  The Cowboys barely won a close battle while we will win the war.

He made one or two last week against the Bears too. I guess that's progress.

Hopefully Davis grows into his role.   Then again, drafting Hamilton means no trade for CJGJ.

Those were against the run.  This one was against the pass!!!

Merry Christmas and remember no more Quez

Well his current role is the 6th DT on the roster.

Smitty is sick AF!

As awesome as AJ is and will continue to be, it's only a matter of time before Smitty overtakes him as our #1.

I meant what he was drafted to do... NT.

Very different types. They are a great level 1 combo.  Let's hope they stay that way for 10 years.

Don't think AJ is going to last that long, he's already slow compared to most of his contemporaries, and considering how easily he runs out of gas, isn't exactly a gym rat.

Wasn’t too long ago the running joke was teams had us right where they wanted us in 3rd and long…

the two plays in that game that could’ve changed the entire outcome was that play and maddox not finishing the sack. If you make that play Dallas punts and you have the ball up 7. If maddox finishes the sack you are getting a punt and the ball up 10.
