I think Hurts locks up MVP with a great game against the Saints.  Without that, it’ll be hard to argue against Mahomes throwing for 8,000 yards.

The Vikings are irrelevant.  They only become relevant if the Eagles lose out, which would mean the Vikings are the least of our problems

That applies to the Cowboys and Niners as well. The only way the Eagles can lose the #1 seed is if they lose out.

But it's not entirely irrelevant because if the Eagles have a fluky game against the Saints and lose, they could still clinch #1 if all 3 of those teams lose and then they wouldn't have to treat the Giants game as meaningful. Get everyone extra rest.

I actually think the Niners have the best chance to win their final 2 games of the Cowboys/Vikings/Niners.

Wouldn’t rule out brady going to the dolphins next year. he wanted to be there this offseason and couldn’t. Feels like Tua is holding the dolphins offense back as the season has gone along and not the other way around. Over the last 4 games averaging 20.8 ppg

Brady is close to cooked. His arm is shot.

Is Brady even gonna play next year? I figured he'd retire after this season, he looks so damn miserable and his face looks sickly, but maybe now that he's divorced and he can do whatever he wants he'll try to play until he's 50.

Dolphins could pry Rodgers away for a year or two maybe.

Possible. The Bucs line has been garbage this year so tough to know how cooked he is. Tampa is 23rd in pass block win rate and 30th in run block win rate. Was a lot of people when he left New England saying he was close to shot but then he got to Tampa with a bunch of weapons and a good oline had looked fine for 2 years til now. Also don’t know how much his divorce is weighing on him.

Boomer just called Trace McSorley "a poor man’s Taysom Hill”.  Good thing I wasn’t drinking anything or it would have been spit out with laughter.

If you’re a poor man’s Taysom Hill you’re homeless under a bridge.

I think the gambling odds significantly favor Mahomes.

Saying a player sucks is more complimentary than calling them a poor man's Taysom Hill.

Nah. They don’t have anything to trade

Yup. And even before the injury the anonymous NFL execs had Mahomes well ahead.

Mike McDaniel the player coach. He has empathy for his players and wants to be there for them. Maybe they can talk things out on the couch during the playoffs. 8-7 with that team is a poor job.

The chase for the 7th seed in both conferences is going to be wild

Chiefs, bengals and bills really should be worried about avoiding the 3 seed. Whoever gets that 3 seed in the afc is in for potentially the hardest matchup of the wild card round if seeding holds with the chargers being the 6 seed. However good chance the chargers can catch the ravens with having colts, rams and Denver left on the schedule and ravens having Steelers and bengals. But if the chargers get the 6 seed their offense has the weapons to put up points and their defense has gotten better down the stretch as they have given up 20.5 ppg over the last 4. Add on last two game held the dolphins and titans to 17 and 14.

Craziest 7th seed race in 30 years…

Taysom Hill is one of the few bright spots for the Saints. They lose yesterday without him.

As soon as I saw you quoted me I knew what I set myself up for

Jimmy Johnson is right when he says the titans are likely not going to play anyone on Thursday night. Win or lose against Dallas it doesn’t really matter cause their season is week 18 in a must win game vs. jags. They win that game they make the playoffs. If they lose their season is over. So likely no help from the titans next week.

A few weeks ago, I would have put Dallas losing to either or both Tennessee or Washington, but those teams have turned to ass in recent weeks. Much as I hate to say, Dallas could win both.

Thought they played great yesterday. Felt like too many times we got cute running the ball and trying to stretch to the outside when we had more success in between the tackles.
