In fairness my two brothers know my Love for the eagles as the last two years I’ve gotten  eagles hoodies, T-shirts, hats to beat the band. I think I’ve an eagles scarf somewhere. I’d love to get another Jersey but the American sizes are a mind field to me. Medium or large Irish/Europe size aren’t the same in us sizes.

If you move Blankenship to Epps role and extend CGJ the safety position is fine. Frankly i like Blankenship and think he can be a solid starting safety when he gets more experience. Seems like a smart player out there. 

we talk about needing pass rush as a major need but i think getting another corner is just as dire. Slay is 32, Bradbury is likely gone. Leaves you with maddox, mcphearson, jobe and Scott as long term options. 

Good call on Blankenship. Could see him becoming Epps replacement.

Definitely need a CB2. Hoping to land Porter, Jr. or Smith in the 1st with that NO pick. Might even double dip if there is a BPA scenario with Pick 95.

You are right about Quez. Just gets so frustrating seeing him get overmatched across the middle. Both Eagles losses involved mishaps on his part. Want to see more Paschal in the slot.

Hoping a guy like Ainas Smith is available in the 7th round to offer up some competition at WR3.

If maddox is out for an extend period of time (I kind of think he might have turf toe) I rather see what mcphearson or jobe could do than Scott. I know jobe isn’t ideal for the slot and mcphearson hasn’t shown much but Scott is just really bad. frankly I’m not sure either could be worse. at least they’d be getting experience as both have a bigger chance to sticking here long term.

Howie does have his work cut out for him. Hopefully a 1st round trade down will yield some more lottery tickets in the mid rounds.

The defense being fixed was always a temporary one year fix thing with the amount of free agents coming up. CGJ, hargrave, Cox, Graham, suh, Joseph, white, Edwards and Epps all being free agents. Add on slay is going to be 32 and likely exiting his prime. thats 7 of your 11 starters as FA and one that’s 32 in 2023. Thankfully hurts has panned out because if he didn’t then you’d have the conundrum of trying to acquire your Qb and fix a defense that could have just 5 starters under contract (slay, sweat, maddox, Davis, Dean. Dean and Davis technically aren’t starters right now but will be next year ) whenever the season ends. 

I am guessing you likely see 2 of edwards, hargrave, CGJ, white and graham back. I tend to think CGJ is going to try and get to free agency and see what type of money he could get. I wouldn’t be so shocked that the Eagles wanna bring him back, but somebody ridiculously over pays him for what he did this year. they don’t want to match it cause it’s a boatload at the safety position and go cheaper with Blankenship and re-signing Epps.  I tend to think it’s hargrave and graham with possibility of edwards  

that said I’d love to bring seumalo back at the right price. But i think he likely is gone and they draft a kid on the middle rounds they like that can play guard and eventually kick out to RT when lane retires.

I’ve said before I’d sign Mattison in free agency and I’m guessing they trade for back with one of the firsts for extra picks and take one in rounds 3-5. If jacobs didn’t explode this season like he has, i tend to think the eagles would’ve gone after him if he had a season like 2021 cause i don’t think it would’ve been a crazy contract. That’s out the window now.

Quez on a slant or really any in cutting route other than a drag against man where he can just run away from the defender for the entire width of the field is a waste.  If he has to use his body in any way shape or form, forget it.  Todd Pinkston was tougher than this guy.
