QB runs.

Allen: 10 rushes, 56 yards. Led both teams.

You don't have to run a lot but it's a back-breaker when you do.

Yup and Allen dropped some absolute dimes last night as well.

He had one throw on a blitz a guy in his face just stood tall in the pocket and launched a rainbow, I thought it temporarily left the stadium and that rain drop ,plop right in the bucket for a big gain.

Not too many guys can make that throw, hurts definitely not one of them.

In terms of why they won, do you think they had more success because of the QB runs, or because of Allen making throws/getting the ball out quickly? Which played a more important role in their success. I didn’t see the game, so idk.

He completed his first 14 passes

Allen didn’t run in the first half, I think just the one on the opening drive.

Between his WR giving up a free INT and Cook fumbling, he took the game into his own hands in the 2nd half.

Id be surprised if he reaches 10 carries in a regular season game again this year

The not catch with Dez in the playoffs.

Nope.  Def So-Cal or West Texas.

Both.

His ears reside in Texas and the rest of his body in So Cal.

Personally, I think they relied on his running too much.  He got beat up unnecessarily.   He can't that type of punishment each week and last.

And if the Ravens don't franchise or extend Lamar then that tells you how his season went as a passer

I think he’s really inconsistent. Some days he looks like an All-Pro, others I don’t realize he’s on the field

Exactly.  I posted his stats when I suggested he should be a trade chip.  Hargrave might be the most inconsistent Eagle.  Started off on a tear last year but then you might as well have been a PS player taking his snaps.

First 5 games.  6 sacks, 13 tackles

Final 12 games. 1.5 sacks, 14 tackles

The NFL counts sacks as TFL so in addition to the 7.5 sacks, he had 1.5 TFL.

All of this while playing along side Fletcher Cox, who isn't what he was, but still commands double teams.  Sorry, I'm not extending that player when I just drafted Jordan Davis in the 1st, Milton Williams in the 3rd and Marlon Tuipulotu in the 6th over the last two drafts and the upcoming draft is going to be stacked as well.  Extending Hargrave would be a mistake.  Learn from what they did with Fletcher Cox.

The bigger hits by far were in the pocket. Stafford took a much worse beating. Seven sacks, fifteen QB hits. Brutal.

I'm just excited about the competitive advantage we're gaining by holding back how much CGJ will play and who will return punts.  These things must be tripling the prep time for the Lions

If Hurts stinks this season, Howie is gonna take advantage of another QB on a cheap contract so he can continue to build the roster. Wouldn’t expect anyone other than a rookie being the QB next season if it isn’t Hurts.

They really missed their lt last night. The replacement was a disaster.

We're making more of this than they actually believe the advantage to be.

But why not be opaque when the rules allow you?  It's free.

Allen had at least two runs for first downs on third-down plays to extend drives. Those were killers. He also had better protection. Not that it was great, but it was better than Stafford's. Allen did not limit himself to quick throws.

Heretical as it is to say, I believe the Bills won because their lines were better on both sides of the ball, especially the D line. The Rams D line is Donald and three JAGs.

I'd reverse competitive advantage them and just give out as much false information as I can

I forgot to mention holding back who the backup LT is 😂

I don't think it's a big deal but it's a bit of ridiculous culture.

Wasnt a statistic posted some time last year showing that Hargrave was the one who was mostly double teamed?
