I thought watching my Bama play like crap and squeaking out a win would be the story of the day. Sun belt sort of took care of that. And I just saw the Cougs beat the Badgers in Wisconsin. Wow. Not as big as App state and Marshall but still..

Cougars have Cam Ward, he threw like 47 Tds last year, in FCS, or lower, but he was a prospect to watch this season.

 He had shoulder surgery back in January I believe, the fact he’s back playing means at least it wasn’t awful.    Every time a QB gets a throwing shoulder worked on I get scared that an Andrew Luck disaster happens.  

I need to spend some time in Gainesville. Judging from the crowd the ladies let the sweater puppies get alot of fresh air. 

Deciding whether the Eagles next qb should be the one that  misreads the coverage on an option route vs the one that is inaccurate  and only throws at one speed is harder than I thought. 

Who are the QBs we’re keeping our eyes on that I’m missing? Levis, TVD, McKee, Richardson, Stroud, Young

The ones beast mentioned earlier, Mordekai at SMU, and Cameron Rising at Utah. Slovis. Hedon Hooker at Tennessee...

The other INT was in first half at his own 20 picked off by the DEnd who he tackled at the 6 yard line. Which led to another Kentucky TD.

 

That being said I was impressed with Bryce Young today, took some big shots for a smaller guy and while he didn’t play really well he did in the 4th Q when it was needed most. He actually appears to go thru his progressions and only runs when necessary.

I think Bonner from Utah State is solid too. Not sure what his stock will do over the course of the year but worth keeping an eye on still at this point.

Like Rising and Haener, but I can’t with Hooker and Slovis, the latter having an arm arguably weaker than mine.
