Receivers look like they’re run blocking down the field instead of running routes. 

Not a great first drive; the Lions are pinning their ears back and the O looks a bit limited outside of running. The D has to be a lot better

Common theme from last year. It never looks like the game plan on offense or defense is well thought out

Yup.   With the 'new' mechanic of see 0 on the clock, then look at the ball, I guess it was technically not delay, but they got lucky there.

 

 

The offense looks completely lost out there right now.  Seem to be struggling with the crowd noise.

Biggest concerns for me leading into the season wasn't so much the talent acquired, I thought Howie did a really good job there and I'm not his biggest fan, but the coaches and QB. Siri, Gannon, Shane and then the QB. So far all of those things are glaring. Long game ahead but not impressive at all on those ends. 

BTW, hate the decision to go for it there.  The offense was way out of sync.  Punt them deep and give your defense a long field to work with and force the offense to work with their back against the goal line.

 

Try to give a short field back to the offense.

I thought the ball to brown was accurate but the defender was all over brown, there was no way it was getting completed.

That was an early 2000s style blitz there…more of that please 

Both defensive series started with a newb picking up a TFL. Kyzir White on the RB pass, and then Epps on the WR screen.

Blitz on 3rd down from Siri was nice to see.

There are flashes. They just need to knock the rust off.

 

Now, O needs to get moving. I dont have much confidence in Hurts to get it going.
