gainwell sucks. we need a RB who might break a tackle. this is Pumphrey pt. 2

why does it seem like such a struggle to drive the ball? (most of us know the answer)

That quarter on O is very much old habits die hard

Man the announcers really want us to know it's loud in Detroit and that Hurts is constantly "bailing out" the Eagles offense

Yup.   Why shouldn't they?

His default to the check down a few plays ago was a very good initial read.  Outside of that I have to look back, but it's not pretty.

It’s almost as if we’re expecting a QB with an elite receiving group to be able to pass the ball.

It is not a recipe for success for any QB in the league to call only one run to someone other than the QB in the first now probably 15 or 16 offensive plays called now.

Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, no one else is getting as wacked out of a balance called.

Can we try designed RB runs? And route combinations that make sense? Or am I asking too much?

I think they should consider having Hurts not slide at all and just run like the RB that he is.  He takes hits by sliding late anyway and running through contact would tack an extra yard or two onto his runs.

It’s a designed RB run every time Hurts tucks and runs.

Sure.   Lean into it, so to speak.

I can see Montgomery being on the block by the trade deadline as long as Chicago is as bad as we think they are

man that was scary

Can we fire Steichen at the half?

At least Brown looks good.

DG was open for a TD on the pass to brown.

Lions are like ok lets just build a wall in the passing lane of an AJ Brown slant.

Hurts has no other read. Throws at the 3 man wall.

Why can’t we do better than sanders for all these years

throws right into two dudes

We all know they’ll hVe Hurts try to run it in here.

He kept the ball

shocking

HB dive over the top

What did he think he saw?   There were like 3 Detroit players between him and the target, and he tried to zip it through them all at head height.

HATE that playcall.   🤦‍♂️

Well we anticipated him locking onto Brown.
