As bad as some of the incompletions the Lions had, it was not a stellar performance by Gannon’s D.  Disappointing defensive showing.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Well, if you don't get it... the clock stops on the change of possession.

Ahh so I am wrong.

Same team as last year. Hurts is the same 1 read and run guy as last year. Gannon is still garbage. The coaching in general is garbage. Falcons let us down today too smh

Directional kick it...make them go 60 yards instead of 20 for FG range to tie it?  If that hadn't converted you'd be singing a different tune.

If they hadn't converted... I'd blame Hurts.

Dean should start next game, Edwards brings nothing to the table.

A win is a win I suppose, but it’s hard to be too excited with the defense stinking up the joint.

Just a pathetic effort. Bad tackling, no pressure, and the Lions seemed to have an answer for everything Gannon threw at them.

New players, same defense with the exception of a little more five man rushes.

Gross.

AJ Brown, though, what a stud.

Hire Vic Fangio before week 2

Some good, some bad. Defense sucked in the 2nd half. AJ Brown is a stud.

Four point spread made sense.

Geez Wentz threw for 4 tds.

Maybe we can get Lawrence for cheap

Gonna go 9-8 and get trounced in the first round again with this Navy offense

The epitome of a win that feels like a loss

Need to tackle better on D.

Need to have a solution for all-out blitz on O.

Crazy week one all across the league. Happy for the W

D-Line was a major let down, Reddick and Sweat especially.

The D was subpar, but I have a different opinion of what happened:

we're a running team. Up 2+ possessions were should have run the ball 25 times the second half. Those quick incompletions allowed them to get back into it

It was never a talent thing

This D is highly concerning. Luckily the clock ran out cause Gannon wasn't stopping them

They should create a time to work on that stuff.

I’m trying really hard to find anything but just rationalizing by saying the Lions offensive line is outstanding.

Gannon suuucks. I've been saying it since Week 1 last year. His defense is sorry. Someone else needs to get more responsibility on D. Maybe Dennard Wilson, maybe Washburn. Gannon is just not good at all.

Ugly. Smith is not the first read.

DeVonta getting 0 looks is troubling. Really troubling. He was our 10th overall selection. Could’ve had Parsons if we’re not going to use him.
