Reagor with a clean fair catch.  He touched the ball more than Smith today.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Seumalo was getting murdered all game. I don't recall anyone else having a really difficult time.

Lions ground game destroyed that overrated/overpaid dline

I think you need to separate the issues.  That's another problem.

I don't though.   One of the two would have to win the game.  Either the OL get the first, or the D stop the Lions.  Even if they had to stop them from getting 60 yards rather than 20... I expected the Lions to get the needed yards.

Defense and offensive play calling the biggest concern coming out of this win but they got a win and now get an extra day to prepare for their home opener.

I don't have a lot of confidence that hurts is going to move from his only read. I can already see him trying to force the ball to brown over and over

So they call plays where Brown isn't the first read.  That's why you want more than one good WR.

From the few plays I’ve seen, TJ Edwards hasn’t looked good. Has that been the case all game?

He caused the interception but missed some tackles and took bad angles.

Well, I did say 'throwing' in the first sentence.

True🤣, but remember the SB, Burton had a single highlight throwing the football!

Tackles were struggling

White caused the INT

Watson doing what he did in college often , drop a pass

The OL was fine running and protecting against normal pressure.  It was the zero blitz that caused most of the problems.

The entire D struggled to stop the run and the DL didn't get home with only four.

BTW... Eagles offense was outscored 35-31.

Eagles' D was bad.   Eagles' offense was good enough.     If they play like that against Minnesota, they lose.

IDK, the pass D wasn't bad enough to warrant that worry IMO.  Detroit needed to pass the ball and Goff is still the Lions QB.

AJ - TD (Exploded for 155 yards)

Jalen - Rush TD (Rushed for over 90 yards)

Miles - Rush TD (Rushed over 90 yards)

Davonta - TD

Goedert - TD (Over 60 Receiving yards)

Jake - FG

38-13 BIRDS

:towel::Eagle_smiley:

At least this is what I'm hoping for.

Wow, I got a lot right.  4 Eagles TD's instead of 5 (Defensive TD).  Lions did much better than 13 though.

Very true.

So, what you are saying is that Hurts and Burton are the same level of QB.    Actually, Burton's might have been more impressive considering the pressure of the moment (4th and goal), the opponent (Belicheat) and the stage (SB).   Hurts' throw was just a meaningless 1st down on a Sunday afternoon at 1 against the Lions.    Advantage: Burton.

Without the defensive picks six, we lose that game. Unacceptable

He made some good throws that were dropped for no reason.  The secondary got as much help from the DBs dropping balls as they did from Goff's errant throws.  Can't count on guys dropping the ball all the time.

Just glad they found a way to win.

We probably lose without that onside kick too

I’m not so sure I’m glad that they found a way to win, at this point. This team needs a wake up call. But they will probably get it next week

Wasn't paying much attention to their game but KC is already up 14-0 in the first quarter over Arizona.

secondary was good in the 1st half.

2nd half very bad and most of that was targeting Maddox or TJ Edwards in coverage. Gigantic liability. Both of them.
