He's a much better runner than passer, him running is good for us as his passing is sub-par at best.

If you want a volume passer, you'll need a new QB.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

You don't put up 38 total points if you stall the entire game. The defense is a real issue though.

I really don't want to be a D here, but you obviously scoreboard watched then.

Underrated reason this was a win and not a loss. No muffed punts.

Seems like Kelce and Sirianni agree with me. We scored more points than any team this week. The oline was bad. The defense was bad. Hurts played well

Daboll's Giants looking good! 🤣

Anyone who didn’t think we played a game with a RB under center has an agenda.

Was the defense terrible?  Yes.

I dont have an agenda. Ive been questionable about Hurts. The plays he made won us the game

Daniel Jones already sacked 4 times. Geez will they ever get that line fixed?

Yes the QB who barely completed 50% of his passes played well.

The O was stalled the entire game.  The D was always gonna be a problem.  Attack the inside, and you can win.

So they stalled for 455 yards?

I agree that pressure and tackling on D was an issue.  Also, Detroit did ran some nice stuff in the second half.

I don’t quite understand why we continue to invest a gazzillon $$$ and all our draft capital into the DT position, yet it still isn’t doing anything for the pass rush and they aren’t even that effective against the run.

So how long before the niners admit their mistake and beg Jimmy G to save them?

Nick Sirianni saying Hurts had an "outstanding game” is extremely bothersome. Does he honestly believe that? And if so, and today’s game was the standard for "outstanding”, then what the hell does an "above average” game look like. This offense is extremely predictable. AJ Brown is a monster, as he’s always been, but it’s almost like it made Hurts regress. Only really looking at one guy. Teams are gonna start doubling him Megatron-style and idk if we have an answer. Devonta may as well not be in the field. Is it also not bothersome that we don’t throw the ball in the redzone? We don’t trust our QB and it’s so obvious. But yet.. he was outstanding..? Give me a break. Lane said "this ish was ugly”. Well, which is it? Does the coach pretending everything is ok really get the team behind him? Idk

No.  We saw how he handled Hurts after the first trip into the RZ.  Things changed.  BUT... he has to say that.  He's not the type to come out publicly and criticize his starting QB after a 'statistically' outstanding game.

Lane doesn't have to do the coach speak thing.  And he didn't criticize a single player, just the entirety of the game.  Lane was honest, but wasn't pointing at anyone in particular with his comment.  In general though, you'll get more honest analysis from certain players than from the coaches, especially at the post-game PC.

And Lane saying something while walking in the tunnel in the heat of the moment is very different than the coach about an hour after the game ends in a PC.  Players don't like being called out publicly by the coach.  Sirianni said the right thing.  But, I don't think his actions on the field actually support that assertion in the PC.

The 2021 QB class looks awful so far. Could be a 0-5er on the bust scale

The only way he had a great game is if you want to evaluate him as the running back that he is.  In that case, he was awesome and effective.  Should replace Sanders.

7 of which came on defense, and 7 came after a very short field.

I'm still feeling angry at the Falcons deciding to be the Falcons. They had it! Still feel the Saints will give us a pick in the 10-15 range.

Good win by the offense, but I'm ready to fire Gannon into the sun. This was Billy Davis bad.

That win by the Saints might have just cost us 5 spots in the draft though.

Even at 31 we outscored every team than the team we beat. So no other team had a short field? Still scored

That and not turning the ball over. When we're winning, dont screw it up with that BS. A problem most subpar passers have when they press. He did well in that department today

Eagles score 31 on offense. Hurts throws for 243, runs for 90 and a score, doesn't turn the ball over... and half the blog is ripping him apart. I don't know what some of you expect. No, he's not a great QB. He played very well today. He ran the offense how it was supposed to be run.

Out DTs did the job today, but this is also a reason why we should let Cox/Hargrave walk. Good players, but we need the $$$ for other positions too.

Gannon needs to go

Watching 5’2” Kyler Murray get passes batted down at the LOS.  I feel terrible for AZ fans.  At least we aren’t paying Hurts…yet.

Jefferson is good.
