theyre nuts playing Homer ahead of him in the offense. Hes too damn good. Guy plays nasty and he can catch the ball too.

maybe your breakout season for Smallwood is still coming too.

WVU (along with FSU), had more players than any other school on our SB winning roster

Not a coincidence.

All we have now is Kyzir White but it's a start, we're building a champion

He was a primary reason why our offense didnt put up more points than their offense.

He single handedly kept several drives alive.  The play calling was all out of whack in that first half and then they took their foot off the gas a bit in the 4th but when it was time to close the game out Hurts helped do that too with the final drive of the game.  339 total yards of offense, no turnovers and helped lead the offense to 4 TD drives and a field goal.  The offense and Jalen Hurts were so far from being the issues in this game.  The issues in this game lie with the offensive performance and to ridiculous load they put on Hurts shoulders in the first half.

Either way, doesn’t matter. It’s week 1 and you’re already talking MVP for Hurts

It's not one week for that.  I've been saying for much of the season that he will have a good chance to be in the MVP talk with where this team will likely be at the end of this season and his play being a large part of that.

But yeah, you asked a question and I answered it with a link but now it doesn't matter because it doesn't fit your Hurts hate agenda.

Agenda this, racist that. You Hurts huggers are all one and the same. We all want him to be good. He’s just not.

Only QBs to not throw a TD pass this week: Dak, Trey Lance, Mariota, Rodgers, Hurts

How many of them won?

I've seen teams do this almost every year and I've never understood it. Why does a team have a backup QB if they wouldn't start them when the starter goes down for an extended period of time?

Wouldn't you want to go with your backup, who has probably been with the team since training camp, knows the playbook, and has actually practiced with the other players on the team? Why do the cowboys even have Cooper Rush if they don't trust him to win some games? Have I just been spoiled by the Eagles with their history of solid backup QBs?

Except you don't because even when he is, like he just was one in the week 1 win you are incapable of acknowledging that because you for some reason have developed this personal hate for him as a player.

Eagles had a top 5 offensive performance, but some prefer style points.

Meanwile, Russell Wilson is running the Joe Flacco offense.

Our solid backup QBs haven’t always been a thing. Just Garcia and Foles since 2000 unless I’m forgetting one.

Remember Mike McMahon? I went to that Seahawks/Eagles 42-0 game. What a mistake.

Broncos do that terrible 4th and short/goal shotgun offense that the Eagles were doing Sunday.  Hate it.  Just line up under center.

I don’t hate him. Not even a little bit. I’m a realist.

If he comes out and beats the Vikings next week I will give him his props.

Vick. Minshew.

Then the goats. Sanchez and Young.

Then there was Hurts.

That should have been Williams on 4th and Goal from the 1.

He would have scored and sealed the deal for Fantasy.

F!

No. The reason was that our defense couldn’t do squat. It was dreadful and Hurts was not the reason why. Thirty-one points should be enough to win.

Idk how I forgot Vick lol. I always think of him as a starter and was just a backup to rehab himself back into the league. Minshew hasn’t done anything for us so far.

Detmer, Feeley, Garcia, Kolb, Vick, Foles, Sanchez & Minshew.

Maybe Gordon rides the pine now for fumbling.

You're not being a realist if you can't appreciate the game he had in week 1.  He was a big part of the Eagles winning that game.

Our quarterback didn’t throw a TD pass and had a below 60% completion percentage and People think he was a top QB this week? lol

Surprised you missed Hurts

running the ball.

We want to see Hurts be a better quarterback.

Chase Daniel was good too. And McCown. We always have a solid back up.

The defense wasnt the only reason. Hurts was a reason too.

If he could throw, he wouldnt have had to "bail out" the offense with his legs so much. The fact that detroit was able to turn up the heat so much on defense was entirely because of his deficiencies as a passer. His inability to read a defense pre, and post snap. His weak arm. His affinity to run like a chicken with its head cut off. And his unwillingness to even attempt to push the ball down the field beyond 12 yards.

Every yard we got felt like a struggle because of it. And it wasnt sustainable. Which is why Detroit eventually outscored our offense. We couldnt keep putting up points because we dont have a QB. And Detroit exploited that.
