That’s every wide receiver. Who the hell wants to just exercise in full pads for three hours?

Sure. Point was he doesn't strike me as an "it's all about me" WR like we have seen repeatedly over the years. I think he would be perfectly content being the #2 guy behind Brown as long as he was contributing something tangible.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Hopefully, if the eagles bring back hurts after this year Im smiths agent I'm asking for a a trade.

Last year I was willing to give hurts the first 4 games before making any concrete statements or forming any  concrete opinions.

I'm not really interested in giving him 4 more games of his 3rd rookie season to give him the benefit of the doubt.

He looks exactly the same to me as he did last year, a one read then take off and run QB with a mediocre arm.

Difference is that one read is AJ brown instead of a rookie Smith.

I'm not encouraged by his performance against the lions, it was same ole same just asking for a first round exit against a playoff defense.

Hopefully the coaches and FO already realize this and are just getting the most they can out if hurts limited skill set until they have an actual QB.

Nothing against hurts he's a solid dude leader intangibles blah blah blah and so was Tebow who the broncos ditched after he actually won a playoff game because like hurts that skill set doesn't win in the NFL, works in college not the NFL.

(Second to last point in your post)  It's most likely what they are doing with those 2 1st rd picks in their back pocket in a loaded qb draft. I will keep saying it all year

So fans can at least see a real QB in one of them???

Hopefully that's the plan...

Who?

Elliott, good nickel from the Ravens.  Hughes, decent S.  Board and Rodriguez, LBs.  Bet if a Lions fan looked at our defense, they would say the same about two thirds of the Eagles defensive starters.  All the new Lions starters are probably upgrades from their 2021 lineup but simply put, it kind of negates the 2021 stat comparison, at least at this point of the season.

My kids and I will be there

Sirianni said himself before the season the offense needs to go through Brown, Smith, and Goedert.  Hopefully he and Steichen go through film with Hurts each week and review each of his plays to coach him up on decision making.  Personally, when I looked at all the plays where he left the pocket there were only 2-3 times Hurts kept his eyes upfield in an effort to find a target.

I thought that made it really crazy. I’m not going to be the president of the Jalen Hurts fan club any time soon, but even I don’t think he’s bad enough to not get Brown 100 catches over two seasons.

I definitely wouldn't make that bet, ever. The only way I can see it playing out is because of injuries.

Yeah makes little sense to me. Especially them both being on at the same time. Could understand it at least if one was a west coast game starting after the first like they've done before.

Nonetheless will have the two tv setup in play.

Yep, with Tannehill, his beast season was 70 catches in 14 games.  100 in 34 games is a no brainer.

bacarty is such a degenerate gambler he sees the word bet and can't help himself.

Given that Brown is his BFF and got a $100 Million contract. It should have occurred to you that Brown would be the guy targeted early and often. I can get you not believing both Brown and Smith would get 100 catches, but Brown is the obvious guy to bank on getting to 100.

Brown was beating the press.  Need the all 22 to see if Smith was.  Speaking of All22, I love how the NFL says it will be up by 6 p.m. the next day and here it is midday two days later and no All22 yet.

Devonta still got more targets than Allen Robinson!

So I live in Kansas and have been working at the state fair all week, this dudes wearing a cowboy hat and a Prescott jersey and I say to him, Bold choice wearing that here, and he looks at me and says, it's going to be a repeat...

🤔 A repeat of what??? Another first round playoff exit???

Cowboy fans are dumb as hell.

On a positive note the vendor across from me is from Philly, she's cool as hell, when she told me she was from Philly she started telling me stories about the night she was working during the super bowl in Philly and how crazy it was, she also told me eagles fans in Philly dont say see you tomorrow or good night, they just say, go iggles!!! So each night we leave we say Go iggles to each other😁

I didn't know you were a carnie.

Maybe Smith should make a couple plays early in the game when he has the opportunity, and thus encourage his QB to look for him?

People reading way too much into one game.

Just like the first 6 games of the year last year its up to the coaching staff to call runs instead of nothing but read options.

It's up to the QB to hand it off when it's not a clear choice to keep it and he didn't do that in the game.

How many times did Mr. Selfish (Hurts) pull the ball away from his RB to run it himself?

About 7 or 8.  Although, a couple were designed keeps, with the TE pulling around to block the edge. (first play of the game?)

The best way I understand it is ESPN/ABC has the rights to 23 games this year and only had 17 the years before. There's going to be a "Monday Night Football" on Sunday morning for the Jaguars game in London. And then there will be "Monday Night Football" on Saturday at the end of the season when they flex two games with playoff implications. I'm assuming that a MNF double header Week 2 was something to do with scheduling and they kinda just had to do it this way to get all their games while Fox/CBS/Prime get all their games.

The 2022 Lions defense isn’t the 2021 defense.

New starters: Hutchison, Board, Rodriguez, Okudah, Hughes, Elliott, kind of McNeill

So half their DL, 2/3rds their LBs, 2/3rds their CBs and half their Ss are new starters.

Only change on offense for the Eagles was Brown in, Reagor out and back ups Togiai and Pascal.

Don't know about their D-backs, but Hutchison was the best D-lineman for both teams.

Gonna be interesting to see how the Commandos play against Detroit, who to me is a better team than Jacksonville.   If Detroit can get pressure like they did vs the Eagles, Wentz could be in trouble as he doesn't have the escapability like Hurts does.

Lol yup, Its my first rookie year

My wife's job actually has a booth, we don't sell anything just raising mental health awareness handing out info and resources and having as many conversations with people as we can.

Even though Kansas is dominated by chiefs fans there are a fair amount of  cowboys fans in KS  that are  in dire need of all the mental health resources they can get...😁

I am curious to know if the coaching "brain trust" had a chat with him at halftime. It seemed he was not pulling it down as much.

Understand that. Just confused why the money grab was Week 2 Double header instead of week 1 double header.

But as Mean mentioned, probably another money grab, like the WNBA playoffs yesterday lol

The WBNA still exists???

I thought they went under years ago🤷‍♂️
