Speaking of All22, I love how the NFL says it will be up by 6 p.m. the next day and here it is midday two days later and no All22 yet. Have you gotten the Some11 though? That would be a step in the right direction... shows progress.
September 13, 20223 yr Point of clarification: Is this Hurts' ultimate rookie year or is it his penultimate rookie year?

If Detroit can get pressure like they did vs the Eagles, Wentz could be in trouble as he doesn't have the escapability like Hurts does. I laughed way too hard at this.

September 13, 20223 yr I noted that several posters complained that we didn't use motion. In point of fact, we used it a lot. One nice wrinkle that Detroit used, When our slot receiver went in motion across the formation, the DB blitzed, every time, instead of following the receiver across the formation. Got a free runner at the QB several times.

From what I could see of the CB play, coverage was tight and handsy. Will be able to get a better feel when the All 22 is available. Not impressed at all about the Eagles pass rush under Gannon. Lions have a good OL but……. Only way his zone heavy defense works is with an aggressive collapse of the pocket. I am curious to try and see what Man/match and Zone/match Gannon used and how much soft zone was evident.

Yup, that dude has a motor, watching him battle Mailata was fun. I mentioned in an earlier post most Hutchinson's pressure came from inside on Twists and stunts. I thought Mailata held his own and really stonewalled him a few times. Hutch is no joke and either is Mailata.

Last for the eagles, his new team will no doubt sign him up for at least 3 maybe 4 rookie season's, I'm sure his agent will include it in the contract...

September 13, 20223 yr Author A shame they are MNF this week. We really need another data point to balance the conversation/arguments/trolling.
September 13, 20223 yr I'm hoping to see a lot of Jackson on Monday. Was watching his highlight tape yesterday. He's aggressive at the point and has quick arm movement

I think he would be perfectly content being the #2 guy behind Brown as long as he was contributing something tangible. Depending how the season goes if him and or Quez get targeted far less and they lose in the first round of the playoffs, I could see one of them asking for a trade. Smith had issues Sunday, we know he did last season when throwing his helmet. Avant has said most receivers stat watch with others in their draft class, or former college teammates, he thinks that was one of Reagor’s problems during his rookie season, watching Jefferson get all stats, plus all the hype.

Naw, Smith/Quez will be fine after this year, because we'll move on from this RB charade and get an actual QB who throws the ball. They'll be placated for one more year, at least.
