Don't know about their D-backs, but Hutchison was the best D-lineman for both teams.

Are you sure you watched the game sober? Sweat was better by a mile.

Hutchinson had one tackle and 0 QB hits, so .....

@LeanMeanGM.

Eagles 27.

Vikings 28.

Reagor scores.

Last for the eagles, his new team will no doubt sign him up for at least 3 maybe 4 rookie season's, I'm sure his agent will include it in the contract...

I had a boss that had me do the technical skill final interview for job candidates.  (Coverages, legal knowledge etc.)  First thing he would ask me when we sat down afterwards was did the person interviewed have x years experience or x 1 year of experience.   What he meant was it complied experience where he learned what we would expect at the level we were hiring each year of work experience, developed if you would or did the person have a work life where the progression was minimal (certainly less than our expectations).

Forget the trolls.  I think the Blog is primarily split between the no progress folks (no to very minimal progress) and those not seeing a top third QB, rather a lower second third QB with some signs of expansion of ability, albeit not enough. Those positions really aren’t that far apart.  But what are we going to do other than roll with what we have this year.

Ryan is always a good Twitter follow.

So can anyone explain why theyre doing 2 MNF games on week 2?

Its called a Double header.  It's happened before for MNF early in the season.

I thought they both would be targeted equally or one just a little less then the other. I know AJ is Hurts bf but he played with Smith in college... not to mention all last year. Chemistry is there. I'm a little surprised it was lopsided but again it's week 1

Yeah I obviously don’t expect Brown to get ten catches every week, and Smith none, but I did expect a heavy dose of Brown to begin the season.

I just watched the game about 5 minutes ago.

Sweat is a waste of space, his flying superman punch pass rush is possibly the most idiotic most ineffective pass rush move I've ever seen and when he tries that street fighter 2 move on a running play totally takes him out of his run fit.

Dont even get me started on his totally getting lost while dropping in a zone, though to be fair that's on Gannon.

Meanwhile hutch was pretty active, he gave Mailata all he could handle and while I didn't see too much pressure against Mailata he generated   pressure Inside on Twists and stunts pretty regularly, against most qbs who arent RBs those Inside pressures are most likely sacks or hits.

But this is the first time that the games have overlapped. Frankly, it's silly.

Sure. Point was he doesn't strike me as an "it's all about me" WR like we have seen repeatedly over the years. I think he would be perfectly content being the #2 guy behind Brown as long as he was contributing something tangible.

Agreed.

What percentage of passes does Cousins complete this week? I'll set the o/u at 78%.

Eagles should give DE Dee Ford a call

Nice to see a film breakdown from an old Blogger.

Maybe Smith should make a couple plays early in the game when he has the opportunity, and thus encourage his QB to look for him?

People reading way too much into one game.

How many times was he targeted?

He made sure he wasn't sacked and he threw to the left. That was good

Why, multiple games are played at the same time on Sunday.

 I suggest you re-watch it then because Mailata absolutely manhandled him all game. Hutch was on his ass at least 3 or 4 times throughout the game. Seriously, go back and watch it.

I asked the same question yesterday but set it at 80%. Give me the over

I'm pretty sure there's been overlap before.

I did, I watched Mailata and hutch almost the whole time.

First quarter hutch almost knocked Mailata in his ass, I don't think Mailata was expecting it.

A couple times hutch got away from Mailata but hurts had already bailed or got rid of the ball

More than once Mailata totally stoned hutch, hutch is a rookie and he's never played against anyone like Mailata before.

He lined up a few times against Johnson, hurts either had already taken off or got rid of the ball or it was a run to the opposite side.

He did most his damage inside on stunts and twists and got in hurts face or forced him out.

I loved watching Mailata though go til or well after the whistle with hutch and hutch go right back at him.

Like I said those two were fun to watch, hutch has a motor and plays with a lot of intensity he and Mailata we're going at it all game

Good stuff.

Mailata is a beast, but most eagles fans already knew that, Hutchinson now knows too.

I stand by my sweat statements, that Superman punch pass rush move is ridiculously stupid and in effective, I've never seen it work yet he dors it all the time except for when he's doing his fake Superman punch which is equally stupid and ineffective

Tried to look this up but couldn't find any MNF games that overlapped, so i think you're right.

 Understatement of the century. I also like how you leave out all the times Hutch ended up peeling himself off the turf.
