Got it.  If you've got Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on the perimeter, could be devastating to have a strong 5 in the paint.

If Gisecki plays that soft, then teams will just throw a bunch of CB/S on the field with those weapons.  You want someone to bring the secondary in a bit.

I can’t imagine Gisecki wouldn’t produce though. He has tremendous length and athleticism. The Dolphins may be trying to get a pick or two back though. I’d imagine several teams would give up a 2nd and day 3 pick for him.

He is soft but i mean people said the same thing with ertz. Yet he was able to get better as a blocker and just be serviceable when out there. Gesicki still hasn’t gotten to serviceable. I feel like their previous coaching staff didn’t do a very good job anyway and some of this is on him for not understanding how uh better he could be if he just became average/serviceable at it.

Not Giesiki, the receiving group as a whole is fast and soft.

The Dolphins might have the 2 fastest WRs in the NFL, both under 5'10".  They need a big, physical target...you'd think Gesicki would fit nicely.

Not in Shanahan's offense

Yeah i feel like they lack size at wr. Waddle and hill are both under 6 feet. They have Preston Williams who has size but feels like he’s always hurt and doesn’t play to his size. I actually think Parker was a good compliment to waddle and hill with his size. But he was also always hurt and soft.

 at some of the hand wringing and moral posturing in here. *GASP* there were some people trying to have fun on the unofficial message board of an NFL team in the off-season by messing around? Well I do declare, this is an abomination!

🤣🤣🤣

Hurt your credibility.  You have some good talent evaluation posts and then denigrate yourself to battling with a couple of posters that if they aren’t trolls then they are some of the stupidest football posters ever to post in the Blog on a regular basis.  Fun?  Man what a dull life if that is fun.  Trolling trolls is lowering yourself and that can stick.

Maybe they’re content with Hamler off his second ACL, but a small slot WR might not be the best pairing for significant snaps with Russell Wilson considering his difficulty throwing over the middle at his height.

I think that’s a big reason why they chose Patrick as the slot instead of Jeudy.

A small slot receiver with horrible drop issues.

Eh, to each their own. I don’t post here much between the draft ending and the season starting as I spend a ton of time at my shore house. I think perhaps you’re taking all this too seriously as opposed to me being too whimsical.

Yeah, the whole goal is to have a power running game and to marry the passing game to it. You can’t do that with a guy like Gesicki, at least not in his current form. He wants a TE that can block, and a a lot has to block too, otherwise it’s a tell.

It really made little sense to franchise tag him considering what he had shown to this point. Maybe the GM wasn’t ready to throw in the towel and convinced McDaniel it could work.

iirc we had the option of a +1/-1 system. Which very quickly became just a +1 system. Or, the emojis.

I would like to see them add emojis. I think its been asked/suggested numerous times but I cant remember what the issue is that prevents it from happening.

For so long we didn’t have the "Like” feature, the other process was used. But honestly, the Like feature is kind of lazy.

No, actually I meant that as a compliment. I like what you add in player evaluation predraft. I noticed you were gone so you didn’t participate in the troll v troll battle.

Shore house?  Sounds like NJ. In the South, from which I originate, it’s the beach and being around Baltimorons for the last thirty plus years, it’s down the ocean.  Wife wants an accessible second place near the beach. Where is yours?

How in the F can the Panthers be trading an OL?

Cape May. Not far from Hot Dog Tommy’s if you know the area. Then we typically do a week or two in the OBX.

Ok let’s get back to football…

Who is the one player you think will take their game to the next level?

My vote is Goedert. I think with the WR core we got, he’s going to be getting a lot of targets, especially in the redzone. Hurts will be checking down to him often. I’m expecting him to clean up the drops.

There’s no one on the defense I’m really excited about. Sorry just can’t find myself to get excited about rookies

Jalen Hurts

Was probably on the roster bubble, so they moved up in the draft instead of cutting him

For me it has only been 4 pages in 5 hours.  Having DireWolf, RememberTheKoy, AceNova, EaglePhan1986, 4for4EaglesNest, olsilverhair, downundermike, and Godfather on ignore cleaned out most of the drek.

And the Eagles shut the official board down due to a lack of traffic.

I’ll go a different direction than the obvious ones like Hurts or Goedert. On offense, I’m going with Kenny Gainwell. I think we see a big jump from him this year in production.

Hargrave needs to step up and be a consistent disrupter up the middle. I think his play will be key for the defense as a whole.

I’m not expecting much from Cox at this point. He’ll still be above average but he is fading.

I just can’t expect anything from Davis early on. It’ll be a combo of him figuring things out and our coaching staff figuring out what to do with him.

And he got gassed in both preseason games

If you guys are interested the Phillies are attempting to blow their second 7 run lead of the season.

His struggling as a receiver in camp is concerning, hopefully he gets it together as he will be the lead back the first couple of weeks.

It really handicaps your team when guys don’t do the primary thing they are supposed to do very well.  I am not a Phillies fan, is Suarez a good runner ??

You responded to my comment then a few minutes later say you have me on ignore. Whatever helps your smug self sleep at night
