Monday they’ll tell us they’d never seen those routes before because they only gameplanned for him to be in the slot.

For anyone who has read my pieces for a while, it’s fair to call me a Jalen Hurts ‘skeptic’ or whatever that means. I don’t understand the discourse around his play this week. I thought he was fantastic. I saw clear progress passing the football from last year and I think he has taken a step forward. Let’s look at the positive and areas of development coming out of week 1. I will try and group plays together as usual rather than break it all down in the right order.

Yeah saw him on the list of cuts on final cut day.  Mentioned him after the Barnett news.  Our lack of interest has been puzzling. Also didn't sign him as a free agent this year either.  That's 3 times in a few months that we have passed on him.

Don’t see that at all. The nfc is so weak that he and the Bucs as long as they stay healthy should at least be playing in the nfc title game. 

He keeps missing practices for personal reasons. Things aren’t good at home per reports. Would not be surprised at all.

I realize it's not that important, but it drives me crazy when Howie doesn't fill the roster for multiple days

Oh that's bad.  OK someone help me out here.  With this new defensive alignment, if Reddick rushes the passer, is that considered a blitz or is that just our standard pass rush?  If that's considered a blitz and he only sent Reddick a maximum of 6 times then my biggest fears for Gannon and that FA signing are going to come true.

Blitz is considered 5 or more rushers. So no Riddick as the 4th rusher is not a blitz

I don't see that happening. 

Brady may be the GOAT of the NFL, but I think as a Dad and Husband he may be MIA most of the time.  Says he misses every Thanksgiving and Christmas, birthdays, etc. for football.  Yet here he is playing another season in the NFL.
