The lions? They were 28th in defensive dvoa. They were actually 31st in ppg allowed (27.5 ppg) and 29th in yards per game.

Don’t see that at all. The nfc is so weak that he and the Bucs as long as they stay healthy should at least be playing in the nfc title game. 

 You know Twitter is full of idiots when they basically call Les a racist, he was probably the nicest of all the Philly reporters.  It all started with him Tweeting "Hurts running 17 times per game wasn’t sustainable”, that’s it.

I really don’t get the NFC is so weak narrative. Last year the NFC won more games than the AFC and won the Super Bowl too. Both conferences had about four really good teams and also about four really crappy teams. And they split their interconference games week one.

I didn’t realize we were dialoguing. I assumed you were talking about the Eagles defensive numbers from last year. If you were talking about the Lions, then maybe you were right.

I’d argue the top 2 teams of the afc is better than the top 2 in nfc. Imo Chiefs, bills are better than any team in the nfc besides maybe the Bucs. The bills just destroyed the rams. Frankly i think the rams and packers roster wise aren’t nearly as good as last year (losing your left tackle is big and they lost von Miller. They added robinson who i don’t think is prime robinson anymore)and likely take steps back. Dallas isn’t as good. Niners until lance plays better isn’t as good. I think the cardinals are gonna take a step back too. Vikings, eagles Giants, Washington might be better. Saints are about the same with losses and losing pay too. I’d argue the raiders, chargers, broncos, ravens all should be better with the additions they made or having a healthy Qb. Even bengals made major upgrades to oline which was the weakest spot for them. patriots and titans taking a step back. But when pats move back i think dolphins adding hill and some of their additions they’ll be a better team. Add on the nfc last year had 7 teams that were 3 or more games below .500. The afc had 4. The afc also had 10 teams over .500 last year. Nfc had 8. Really the afc came close to having 12 teams finish above .500 as two teams finished 1 game below .500 and had injuries with their QBs for a majority of the season  

I’d argue the afc has deeper talent at QBs than the nfc and the path to get to the Super Bowl imo is harder than the nfc.

Typical response from a dinosaur like Bowen. A QB ''doesn't need to win with his arm'' he needs to win however he can. Hurts ability to run the ball in a win doesn't put some asterisk next to their record. Dumbest thing I ever heard. Not to mentioned he was able to get the ball to Brown 10 times for 150 yards.

This is why I have always felt iffy about out week two matchups the last few years. I did not even realize this stat on a conscious level, but my brain must have known. Hope they break the streak, but its a tough matchup. Fingers crossed 🤞
