31 points is bad?

Everybody was pumping up the improved Detroit Lions defense, until they actually show that improvement on the field, they're still the same bad defense they were last year

There's one ball to go around. Brown was dominating and open all game long, so Hurts took the defense gave him. Including several key first downs with his legs. There will be weeks where it's a Smith game, or a Goedert game. Hurts is never going to be a pocket passer though. People need to quit envisioning a 6'5 250 white guy with a rocket arm and thinking that's the only way to play the QB position. Hurts still has work to do and ultimately he has to show he can beat good teams, probably in the playoffs. More often than not he gets the job done and that's what matters, not that he doesn't fit the mold that some people think a QB should be.

No, screw you for thinking a franchise QB should be a 6'5 250 white guy. 2022 and some people still can't accept a black athletic QB who plays well and wins games with his legs and his arm.

Parental failure

Him and hpenis definitely play tummysticks

The problem with Hurts is that he's been a bad QB. His problems with accuracy, arm strength, leaving the pocket too quickly and missing open players might marginally improve

Does anyone believe he's capable of making a huge leap? Because if you're a gambling man the odds are very poor that's the case. So if you keep him or sign him to an extension, you're playing against the odds

Well the only spankings I’ve ever gotten have were from your mom last night so…

How about people just read Les Bowens article?

it has nothing to do with race. It has nothing to do with height. It doesn’t even have anything to with arm strength. It has everything to do with Hurts has a skill (running/athleticism) and he will have that skill until he doesn’t. And the way he won’t have that is by taking a physical beating every week. To preserve that and his career, he should develop more as a passer.

Some people think Hurts can do that. Some think he can’t. I think EVERYONE can agree that if he’s going to get a new contract, whether you want him to or not, he should not be running that much or take that much of a beating on a weekly basis.

Race has nothing to do with it. We were all banging the table to trade for Wilson. Some for Watson. We also liked the idea of Malik Willis as a project with his raw tools. Our best QB ever was McNabb and we all loved Vick as well. We're looking at Richardson, Hooker, Stroud, Young for future QBs.

It just so happens that it's 2022 and the media & politicians have done their very best divide the nation and poison our minds. It's a shame you need to pull that card. If I were you, I would go back to the hole you crawled out of.

Again, what are your concerns regarding Hurts' performance?

Are you saying that he, regardless of the other 10 guys on offense, needed to blow out the Lions?
