Daniel jones is high cause they threw it 21 times so he had less chances to do something dumb. he had only 4 incompletions. If you improve him by just 1 completion he jumps to 86% completion overall which is ridiculous until you realize he threw for just 188 yards and 65 came on one play. I thought he was defintion of a game manager outside of the sterling shepard pass. His INT in the end zone was freaking horrible.

Good point, his completion percentage should be way higher, thus his adjusted should be way higher with the lowest depth of target.

You can hand wave away 16 rushes all you want, it’s still way too many for a QB to take. It’s far more in line with a RB workload which has long been my assertion

If you can, go back and look at the second TD drive.  It starts with an RPO to Brown.

Then they run the ball with Sanders.  It's the same mesh action as an RO, but there isn't an unblocked defender to read.  Straight run.

Next play, is also a run by Sanders.  But this time Hurts is reading the DE.  Read Option.

Of course the announcers called them the same play.

Here's that first RPO:

Hurts is reading the LB, by the angle of his head he's reading the left ILB. Not that it matters, because both LBs bite on the run action.

Hurts pulls the ball as Brown runs the slant.

Coming wide open. The LBs are nowhere in sight.

Blank roster spot in memory of JJAW.

Hurts runs 17 times, but you think he has no responsibility for that because the coaches aren't calling enough runs to the RBs.

You're so far gone

I'm so far gone.  Lol.  You think the coaches have no responsibility whatsoever to call designed running plays. You don't believe the coaches create the gameplan and then call the play calls in game day.  You apparently believe this is all the work of Jalen Hurts.

Hurts has no read here, because Stoll has completely driven the DE inside. He's looking for the DE but He's not there.

So he gives it to the RB who has clear sailing...

Yeah, Jalen Reagor really needs to get some revenge on the Eagles for giving him an opportunity and giving him a 1st round salary.

PFF is such a clown show that Skyy Moore isn't even on the top 15 list for Week 1 Rookies.

Drake London: 5 catches for 74 yards off 7 targets. Dotson had 2 TDs for WAS. Yet somehow the guy who had 1 catch for 30 yards off 1 target is the best.

They’re just being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian. Like how they gave Hurts an adjusted completion % of 83% since they don’t count throwaways and batted balls into their formula.

Goedert has hooked the DE. Lane has blocked the DT in a combo with Kelce, who is now releasing to climb to the LB.

I misidentified the TE in my prior post. It's Goedert, and you'll never see a better block.

The whole defensive line has been collapsed and Sanders can run straight up the field. That DE started outside the hash and Goedert has driven him all the way to the other hash.

I’m not sure what advanced stats work best for QB’s, but I know this, whatever PFF uses is asinine. I know the rules on politics but this list is 100% Malarkey.

30-39-360 yds and 5Tds, lol, 8th.

Thank you for posting.

Seems that the Depth of the target on this throw was 8.5 yards.   Kind of destroys the idea that RPOs force the depth of target to be so low.  Hurts' mode throw on Sunday was within 1/2 yard of the LOS - 7 attempts.  His median depth of throw was 4 yards.

It's not stupidity. It's subjective to some extent, but they do similar things in baseball, determining whether the "average" fielder would have got to a ball.

It’s PFF so it is heavily subjective.  But I see some bit of logic to taking out the deliberate throws out of bounds.  I do think Hurts was more accurate in his passes this past game.  Take the throw that looks short to Gainwell.  Gainwell is running into the teeth of the coverage.  Hurts threw it to where he might score from. I think that one is on Gainwell.  But most of Hurts throws were within range for the receiver to catch them.   When Goff missed, he really missed.  I am hoping that is a sign of growth by Hurts as opposed to the quality of routes run by Brown.
