So Ive only tried the recipe once, Im no expert.  I bought those pawpaws at a festival and didnt collect them myself, so they were over ripe.  Just like a banana they get gelatinous and mushy as they ripen so the bread didnt work out well for me.

As far as putting them in jello, you probably could. But think of an avocado, you have to scoop the fruit out of the skin and there are big seeds.

And for the taste, Im going to be straight with you here that there's a mild Callery Pear-esque quality to them if you catch my drift. And it gets more pungent quickly. But you can swap them 1 for 1 with a banana. 

I got about 40 pawpaws, so Im going to try a few recipes and Ill let you know how it goes.

As far as where in the state, it's near Fairmont, what we call north central WV.  Theyre understory trees but you can spot them by their huge leaves.

Watching this makes me think the Eagles are 3 good players from being a much better team.
