Chargers were sleep walking on that onsides attempt

Would love a QB like that

By far my favorite QB to watch in the league. Every week he has 3-4 throws where you are just wowed by them. Last week the defender grabbed his leg off the ground and he threw a bullet to get the completion. Week 18 last year he had some ridiculous plays to keep the chargers alive. It’s a shame he is gonna have chargers luck for his career. They seemingly always have great talent but just find ways to blow it. Somehow have had Brees, rivers and now herbert as their last 3 starters.

I’m really surprised the chiefs don’t get CEH more touches than they do. I think the kid can be what westbrook was to reid back in the day. One of the chiefs beat writers was on Sirius before the season and thought he’d have a big year. Said he came into camp in 2021 at 160 pounds after having his gallbladder removed and could never get his weight back up.

I always heard people comparing CEH to Westbrook.  I don't really see it.

I like both series but the LOTR is a fairly simple good vs evil battle. The complexity comes from the setting and the expansive number of characters. The GOT is a political intrigue where there are no real heroes or villains. It is a drama where the outcome isn’t about good triumphing over evil.  The nudity and sex meant to be morally ambivalent and not just for tantalizing the audience.

GoT is like what Bane said to Batman in The Dark Knight Rises: Victory has defeated you.

We liked GoT too much so now George is fat, happy, and distracted and its been 11+ years and still no book 6. He killed the show by not having any substance for them to use at the end.

I like Dunk and Egg, I liked the Blood and Fire book. I will probably like this show. (Episode 1 is on YouTube and it was very good)

I still want the actual GoT story to be wrapped up.

Both are smaller (5’8) and coming out of LSU CEH was a really good receiving back. His first two years in the league the chiefs just haven’t utilized it. They have so far this year. He has 7 receptions already. Had only 19 last year and 36 the year before. I think westbrook is a more elusive back than CEH who uses more power. But coming out of college CEH was a very good receiving back in his last year and people thought they’d use him similarly to how reid used westbrook.

Only 235 yards from Mahommes, practically Hurtslike.  :P

Tbh the chargers defense is much better than what they were last year. The additions of jackson and Mack are pretty nice. Staley is a defensive coach so if guys stay healthy i think they have a chance to be a top 10 defense with better talent. That was really their biggest Achilles heel last year. Now it feels like the chargers are having a bunch of injuries on offense. Allen, linsley, their right tackle and herbert dealing with a rib issue

Morally ambivalent sex scenes, is that like jumbo shrimp or military intelligence???😉

Rib injuries are no joke. I've had fractured ribs before and every twist of the torso is pain. Every bend is pain. God forbid you have to cough. Worse pain than when I burst four vertebrae.

Standing up, sitting down? Pain.

Lol Sherman saying don’t charger it and they chargered it.

that is such a true statement about the chargers and them finding ways to blow games. Lol

I thought Martin got tired of the story and really had no ending. Kind of liked him like Donaldson in his willingness to kill off main characters.  Donaldson fell into a worse trap when he resurrected Covenant.

CHE doesn't have the wiggle acceleration or explosion Westbrook had.

Wonder if Herbert is going to be out for a couple of weeks

I’m pretty sure he has a cracked rib or two. The way he came down on the helmet and watching him afterward. I’m guessing he can play through it unless it’s so bad it could potentially do more internal damage

I appreciate your post in response,  Mine was meant as sarcasm. Love Mahommes quick trigger but like Detroit’s D.and Vikings’ D aren’t last year’s, 2022 moves on.

I think westbrook is more elusive and explosive. Whereas CEH has more power to his game. I would say MJD but i think mjd had more bulk and like a bowling ball style but was a good receiver early in his career

From 2004-2008 Westbrook had 8106 yards from scrimmage and 53 TDs in 69 games.

He had another 868 and 6 more TDs in 8 playoff games.

No one is the next Westbrook until they have proven they are special for at least 3 years.

CEH is nothing special so far.

Hope not. How long are players out with cracked ribs?

i knew it was. Wanted to make the point i think their defense is better with those additions. Frankly think the lions are still going to be a bottom 10 defense.

imo I think mahomes was fortunate the chargers d didn’t make more plays he gave them chances.  I kind of think the bills, chiefs and chargers (assuming herbert isn’t out for weeks) might be the 3 best teams in the afc.

He and Patrick Rothfuss both fell into the same fat and happy and distracted trap. At least Rothfuss is helping the planet with wells and goats, and stuff like that with his charity.

George is working on Wild Cards shite, rescuing wolves, playing with his movie theatre, going to conventions, and working on 27 spinoffs.

Finish the books already or hand it off to Brandon Sanderson. (he finished Wheel of Time when Jordan died)

Depends on how bad of a break it is, his pain tolerance and if there’s a chance of cause more significant damage. Gonna put a flak jacket on him

But PFF will have his adjusted completion percentage at 104%.
